Well, I'm rating Avis Paarl with 1-star. My experience with them I nothing but shocking and unexceptable.  In short, got the rent vehicle the 02.11.2021, gave it back 09.11.2021 and only by the 15.11.2021, and only because I drove to the branch, they apparently tried to get hold of me cause my bank details was wrong.  No, today is the 21.11.2021, and no, I didn't get my money from this place called Avis yet.  So to put it all in perspective,  these so called professional people at Avis, only realized 6-days after I handed the car back to Avis, that my bank details was wrong??!!!  Pathetic,  that's the type of service I'm getting from Avis.  Now, I hope some competent person from this so called excellent car rental service will come into contact with me, so I can get my bloody money asap.  Thumbs-up if you agree and follow.

I booked a car and was sent an Email with the wrong contact number and an old address after my third Uber and 220 Rand later I eventually found the place the manager has told me I can bring the car back later than it is booked for but unfortunate that destroyed my day as I was to late for my meeting in Cape Town so now on my Rest day I have to travel from Paarl to Cape Town it also stated on my booking they would give me a manual car but got an Automatic car instead it seems to be a South Africa thing no structure or consideration for customer service the manager did apologise however I won't get my day back and fear I may leave a dent where my clutch should be.

Our clients forgot their suitcases in the boot of their hired car. They only realised their mistake at 20h00,  hours before their departure. A huge thank you to the call centre assistants and specifically Jolene & Gabriel for outstanding client service. Jolene drove in especially to unlock the vehicle, and we could get our clients safely to the airport with their luggage. Well done

Staff were very friendly and helpfull. I also rate Avis above their direct competitor due to them being very open about their pricing and deposits. Will always use Avis Paarl.

Staff friendly, helpful and experienced, please make sure you check your vehicle for any damages before exceptance, ask questions and who what and when on different scenarios. You might be liable for something you take for granted.
