BBQ Workshop Kyalami is situated in Kyalami Corner shopping centre. The restaurant space is fresh and modern - black and white tiles line the lower half of the walls and wooden tables and chairs with a pop of red fill the restaurant space.

The ordering process at BBQ Workshop works slightly differently; each guest is given a menu to select their meals and, once they have decided what to eat, they place their order by ticking the checkboxes next to their selection. The table number and guest name is written on the menu and the order is placed.

Our favourite part about BBQ Workshop is the Dessert Menu and Ice Cream counter. Scoops of creamy Gelato are served in a sugar cone or cup or with Vaflaki - bite-sized waffles - and syrup. Decadent gourmet milkshakes are also available. Served in large glass mugs, these 500ml shakes come in a variety of flavours. Cheesecake, Ferrero Rocher and Cookies & Cream are our favourites!

This shopping centre probably has one of the best locations ever, it's neither hidden away or difficult to get to. Best get to this location now...It's generally quiet! Guess not many people know about it... Well I've just about been to every restaurant in this complex and to be honest I would recommend this complex to anyone for lunch or dinner. As to which restaurant... haha that's another storey as they are all brilliant. BBQ Workshop is a wonderful experience, one would not expect it looking at it. The idea here was the entertainer app ... and that is tadaa if you not been reading my reviews ;- eat for 2 and pay for one. Well that's pretty much how it works... So we ended up here to score a free second meal, what we did not expect is the ribs specialSunday's only. Ok so you now wondering "What Rib Special....?" Common it's biblical with spare ribs ;- Take ur date here to order her whatever she wants. Then and only after she orders whatever she wants order your 10000000kg spare ribs at half the price. "No sharing"... what does that mean??? If you order the ribs only then sadly sharing not permitted. BUT BUt But but... order your damsel in distress whatever she wants... Then by default you can share. ...and we all know sharing is YES caring, Yip we all know the Pioneer of the spare rib 'Adam' shared his rib with... for 'Eve'! So common guys... get with it. My only issue was I wanted the ultimate Greek Dinning experience...The open plated meals! Remember I came here for the entertainer app. Two for the price of one...or just about. My initial choice was the Gyro and Souvlaki-skewers...guess "I'll be back!" Souvlaki you continue to tease me. Be a man... give your woman a spare rib treat at BBQ Workshop, make her feel like the only girl in the world...
Service was good, but food was okay. Maybe not quite what we expected. Saganaki that we had as a starter was amazing and portion of the sandwich is huge.
They have a 1KG Ribs and a side special for R129.00 on Thursdays. Lovely place with a lot of meaty meals, they also have some decent cocktails on their menu. Service is efficient
Super disappointing and not exactly cheap. Great staff and environment to be in. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. Doubt I'll go back.
Excellent food, excellent service and the delivery service is also great. The food arrived a bit late to our home and the manager decided to give us the food for free to apologise for the late delivery. The staff is also very professional and polite even over the phone as if you are right in front of them. I will most definitely be ordering food from them again and will most definitely recommend it to family and friends. Thank you for the exceptional service! I went here again a week ago and again their food didn't disappoint. They've got the best ribs that I've ever tasted, their chicken was great, I honestly couldn't fault anything on that plate, everything was just perfect! I can't wait to go there again.
Friendly staff, excellent service! Had ribs=looked delicious, but missed a little flavour. I will try something else on their menu next time. Liked their attention to detail with the restaurant layout as well as their takeaways packaging.
Bought a Hero Gyro Burger a few weeks back and it was great. I told my family about it and they were keen to try it. On Sunday 27th Jan we went and bought burgers again. They were the worst burgers I have ever had. They were bland and had a very unpleasant taste that stayed in my mouth for hours. The chips were undercooked. My wife had the Chicken Wrapped in Pita and said it was tasteless. If this was my first experience I would never have gone back. Not too sure if I will ever go back.
I enjoy their food especially the wrap and their ribs are some of the best hands down. The milkshakes are amazing but the star is their vaflakis. They are just pillows of deliciousness. The gelato is a winner with my little one.
The absolute best chops I have ever had at a restaurant... add to that a stunning atmosphere and extremely friendly and competent staff headed by James who is the epitome of what a manager should be and you have yourself a 5 star experience. The owner is very friendly and hands on. The subtle fusion of Greek and traditional south african braai make it an experience worth while.
The worst pork and lamb chops I have ever had in my life, I will never recommend this place. Lamb chops had a strong smell like you are eating goat meat. Both chops were so dry better to go to Busy Corner to eat braai meat.
