Located in the CBD, this is exactly what I was looking for as a beer lover. Had plenty of local beers from South Africa and a giant flight wheel called the Beer O'Clock to try them all! Great place to sit on the patio and watch out over downtown Cape Town.
Nice location and great selection. Pity the beer was not ice cold taking load shedding into consideration
Beerhouse was very disappointing. The bathrooms were smelly and dirty. There was no soap in the dispensers. The waitress was less than interested in doing her job. She knew nothing of the beers being sold. She knew nothing of the food being sold not that there was anything to know, they had no stock of most of their ingredients. The table was sticky, the floors were sticky how do you get sticky floors at midday? Don't answer that- I'm being sarcastic. The food took nearly an hour for 3 mediocre burgers. The beers on tap were also mediocre or less than mediocre. There were very few patrons and after this experience, I can see why. Was it expensive? For the quality of the food and beverages, yes.
What a great selection of Beer. It feels like beer heaven. So many different kinds of bottle or draft beer. Unbelievable… After 2018 it was my second but not my last visit here. I will come back again
Great Vibe! Perfect for a fun lunch or afternoon with friends or a casual date. Good selection of drinks even though a few items were out of stock Cocktail was okay, would rather stick to cider or beer next time. We also had chicken strips and jalapeño poppers, very delicious! Perfect for sharing. Will definitely return.
every visit to the beer house is super fun and pleasurable. there are so many beers on tap to choose from, with great cocktails and ciders also. the staff are really helpful and knowledgeable about their products and are able to advise you well. you can even get a flight of beers to try if you are wanting to sample a lot of the different options. highly recommend!
This Place is so calm, They play the best music . Beerhouse Has a variety of different craft beers with excellent service to go along with a great Vibe. Enjoy your time in Long street when you visit Beerhouse
Very underwhelming experience and atmosphere. Beer selection is bigger than most, but tastes are ok.
Had a above average first experience. Maybe the thirst and hunger. But we enjoyed it alot. My girlfriend had the strawberry beer. Was not bad at all. I had the cbc weiss . Beers aren't cheap, but it's craft beer. So reasonable. We both ate a pizza. I ate the pizzahouse. Nice burn , great taste. She ate the Lit! Was also nice. Couldn't wait to take photo, both pizzas have a bite away. Sorry about that! Only downfall was that there was only one waiter. For +-10 tables. Felt sorry for her. Did her best. As I said not the cheapest. All in all. Recommended.
This place is awesome. It might even be the best bar I've been to at the Waterfront. Very clean, plays Pop/EDM type of dance music. The food was fresh and delicious. I love that it wasn't too packed. Everyone has space to dance. The DJ was on fireeeeeee. It made a great first impression on me.
