Super friendly staff... My daughter loves her new library card and enjoyed the experience of taking books out by the library

Always nice to visit. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and quiet for when you need to read or study or do some business related things. Wifi available and also free 45 min internet sessions for library card holders. They also have a 'care card' for those that can noy get a libraty card. Then you read a book and scan it on the care card and the staff keep yoir book behind the counnter for you to read again the next day.

The Bellville Library should step out and have some children's reading sessions in the adjoining Elizabeth Park. The VRCID has regular cleaning sessions there. Also the Art School should consider some classes there too.

Very well organized and managed library. Besides bopkd audio books and dvd's and cd's can be taken out. Staff bery friendly and knowledgeable. Also enjoy an outing to the library. Parking can problematic at times

t is very beautiful, clean and well-maintained. Everyone's well behaved so there's no worries when it comes to noise or disturbances. There's more than enough seating/studying plans, a vast collection of books both academic and otherwise. The librarians are very friendly, remain ready to assist for every and all inquiries.

Katie is such an amazing person, so understanding and loving and kind. Very nice to talk to her. She takes her job seriously but also a light hearted person. Thank you Katie for making me smile and making my day.

I've mostly had a pleasurable experiences browsing books in the library and and when it comes to checkout I always leave with a heapful of books as they have a great selection on books both old and new. The staff are knowledgeable and courteous but....There is this one gent who normally sits at the info desk as you come into the library, when I wanted to take out books the librarian referred me to renew my membership card at the Info desk as it expired. I then went and asked him to, I watched him as he got impatient with me and refused to renew my membership card telling me that because I do not live in the Cape vicinity I cannot be a member. I then told him that I'm a student at one of the tertiary institutions in Cape Town, presented my student card as proof but he just shunned me away. I left empty handed and phoned in the next day, then another librarian renewed my membership card for me.

Awesome library. Great stock for children books. My 4 year old loves books and I have realised I can't keep up with his demands but this library has just the right stock to feed his young growing mind with a wide variety of books.
