Bentley’s Country Lodge is a family owned and managed estate since 1986, now in its 2nd generation of ownership. Nestled in lush greenery and unspoiled natural beauty, we combine true South African hospitality with superb multi-purpose venues.

Following on a successful 26 year history as a premier conference and wedding venue and finalist in the Restaurant category for the 2009 Tshwane Tourism awards in recognition for our service excellence in the tourism industry and Finalist for Best Lodge Accommodation awarded at the Tshwane Tourism Awards ceremony held in April 2012, Bentley’s has become the obvious choice for a function or event of importance.

I was trying out something new and the person I was with needed a place they could quietly work from, we chose to go to their restaurant which is a bit confusing to get into even with the sign pointing at that direction. Maybe it is because the entrance is by the pool from  reception.  Once we managed to get in, we were greeted by vintage furniture that my friend loved. What I loved was that the food was affordable, in huge portions and that the pool was clean, even though I do not swim.  They also have backup power that can last for over 2hours, because I was there during loadshedding.

The receptionist is rude. Seems like they don’t want the business. We checked in at around 5.30am because we worked through the night, we understood that we had to check out the same morning even though we only checked in the same day. we asked for a late check out, 11am instead of 10am to which the guy agreed. Upon checking out the lady insured that we pay R150 extra per room because we checked out at 11am even though the other guy said we could. Most horrible staff ever. On Monday night I was supposed to book a night for my wife and daughter, the lady receptionist was absolutely rude. We opted to walk out and drive to Hatfield instead where my wife had a comfortable stay at Anew hotel Hatfield and their normal check out time is 11am. It was stupid of me to go back, only chose it so we could get a few hours of sleep as it is close to where we are working. Anyway, please don’t go stay here unless you want terrible service.

The service is very bad, it's  like you are forcing the waiters to help you and the food is not tasty at all they should change the cooking staff.Service: 1/5

Basic accommodation. Some of the rooms are fairly small, but there are bigger ones. They are currently building executive rooms which should be quite nice when they are done. Just make sure not to book the rooms near the generator, as it sounds like someone revving a Mack truck outside your bedroom window. Food at the onsite restaurant was very nice.

For more than 15 years a loyal guest, my last two stays were just horrible. I had a confirmed booking for the cottage. On arrival they told me, that the cottage is occupied. All I got was a shabby, dirty room with a "fantastic" view inti a backyard. End of August I got the same room. It was again not clean. The carpers next to the bed were so filty, I would not stand barefoot on them! The night Fr/Sa loud music and screaming until 2 o clock in the morning.  The night Sa/Sun, the same again. The night Sun/Mon loud noise again... After going out ofmy room to complain, they simply switched off the electric powe if my room. So, the next morning I fled to another place. This place is an absolute no-go!!! I got the message... NEVER AGAIN!!!

Both outsife toilets the one close to Springbok boardroom & the one close to the kitchen was dirty with a terrible smell.  The surroundings looks good.  I have not used the rooms, but we ate at the restaurant - the food & the service was great.  However the toilets were disgusting ...Rooms: 5/5

Perfect location to refresh your mind, I enjoyed my stay there. Everything was professional and made easy for me from making the booking, to my arrival at the facility. The receptionist is very kind,humble and passionate with her job, she deserves all the credit. The views are aesthetic much and their breakfast meal,delicious. .the only deal breaker is that they didn't offer,shampoos and shower gel in their bathrooms.

Nice place. Well maintained

I was not happy with the room arrangements. The receptionist was already gone when we arrived, so the security guard had to check us in. It took him almost an hour to process everything and give us our keys only to be given a room with a toilet that did not work. He later changed our room to anotherkudos to him for that, however, we had requested that we be given a room with two beds, which did not happen. To make matters worse, the room was so dusty and it looked like it had not been swept for days don't get me wrong, their rooms are beautiful. We requested for an earlier breakfast 7am but Mr security told us it was not possible. We went for breakfast at 7am only to find that food was ready at 6:30am...Anyway, the breakfast was the best part of my stay, kudos to the chef.
