Beautiful place, good food, friendly team at the restaurant on the dam. Rooms need some attention. Balcony door couldn't be closed. Safe didn't work. Breakfast need some serious attention. When one in on the holiday or weekend of you don't want to rush to have breakfast. Over the weekend rooms were not serviced. If you grill, have kids and whole family gets together you expect some service for the money you pay. Beautiful pool, beautiful greenery.
This is really a magic place. All sorts of game wondering around and a really nice break away. The food is great. Hermien is a fantastic host and goes that extra mile to make you feel special. I would highly recommend a stay here!!!
Lovely Estate. On the Roodeplaat Dam and large swimming pool Lodge needs attention. No email sent before visit to welcome or explain amneties or details of times Restaurant is open etc. The units need a toaster. Is self catering but note there is no oven only a 2 plate gas cooker. Breakfast was good. Thanks Karen Killian

Room was excellent! Clean and neat. Hostess Hermien went out her way for us. Food at restaurant was great..Breakfast was also good. Enjoyed our stay!Rooms: 4/5
Room wasn't serviced properly. The room we stayed in required maintenance. The breakfast was very average. Rude security staff. Don't be fooled by the restaurant on the property. Nature and the animals was nice. Not recommend for international visitors. Nothing is managed wel.Dont be fooled by the 5 stars in the review.Rooms: 1/5
Cannot fault it. Sadly we were only there for one night but we will be back & hopefully for a little longer next time! The accommodation was clean, the linen was quality, the private braai area was perfect, the view off the balcony at sunset was beautiful & made us feel far from the city which is just what we needed. The breakfast was delicious & a very generous serving, so much so we couldn’t finish it all! Huge thanks to the management of Sable Hills Lodge. You really do a great job at making your guests feel welcome, comfortable & happy. We felt so at home. Can’t wait for our next visit!
Wonderful. Pristine. Top class bed. Superb breakfast. Kudu roaming the lawn. Awesome sundowners on the deck at the restaurant. All nestled in the secure and upmarket Sable Hills estate. Kind and generous staff. Will visit again and can recommend without any qualms.
The place is beyond beautiful, it home away from home. Staff is freindly if only they could add a handy Andy to clean the bathtub after bath. Overall I will come back again
