Was a very nice place to stay the staff were friendly and welcoming. The only issue I had was on the sites rules to parties not allowed. The main reason I wanted to stay there. Only to find people having a large gathering and party till late at night. And started again at 6 in the morning. There rule of no party's and events was not adhere to and this made to a uncomfortable sleep
Beautiful place with friendly staff, nice fresh breakfast. My family enjoyed their stay so much. My sisters and aunt who came to see the place already want to book. Twas my second time coming, and this time was even better. It's safe, close to the beach and to Spar. The owners are accommodating. If u thinking about coming, do so u wnt regret the decision
Loved this little spot. Rooms are small but well kept and have everything you need. Breakfast is excellent and the staff are friendly. Would return the first chance I get.Rooms: 5/5

The rooms were beautiful,clean and comfortable. The hostess, I think her name is Belinda, was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The staff were super accommodating when we added extra guests for breakfast, which was well prepared and delicious. As we were a large family together for a reunion, we could not have asked for a better venue for our kids and siblings to reload and have fun. Thank you so much to the staff and management for an amazing Easter weekend. Great guesthouse and value for money too.
The owner and staff went out of their way to accommodate my parents and me, my mom is crippled, we already checked out of 2 other places because it was so uncomfortable for her she was near tears. The breakfast was fabulous, food was hot, filter coffee great! They made a plan to park our car right in front of the room. My parents smile reached their eyes for the first time this holiday. They couldn't believe they were staying in this grand rustic thatched manor and being able to get inside pain-free!!! Prices were unbelievably economical that pensioners could afford it! Thank you Bird House! We'll be back!
Never again. I've stayed at many bed and breakfasts and this was the worst. Owners or management not on property to welcome guests. Room was dark and had an awful smell. No proper cupboard, no aircon, just a dirty fan. I couldn't work at night due to the room being so poorly lit. Lizard droppings everywhere. Staff do not clean the rooms properly, room was not swept and the floors were sticky. Worst 3 nights.
Reserved the suite with bunk beds. First it's not a king mattress,it's two children twin mattress stuck together with a valley in the middle. Giant cockroach coming out of the bathtub. No entertainment, no services in the area. The bird park is all chained up. This is a overpriced cheap establishment. No heating or cooling
Rooms are beautiful!! My room was as big as a ballroom and beautifully decorated. Bathroom needs a bit of love - the taps are loose and the showerhead needs a bit of cleaning, but overall a nice relaxing stay. Good breakfast!
What an exquisite establishment! Friendly and helpful staff made my stay easy and enjoyable! The apartment was spacious , with a full bathroom. The rest of the apartment is well equipped, however , a full DSTV bouquet would have been an absolute pleasure to enjoyed. The pool area is absolutely gorgeous with lush trees and beautiful gardens! The breakfast is an absolute winner , and recommended. HOWEVER , as a NON-SMOKER , when I entered my apartment, i could smell a cigarette odour. Further , as smoking is obviously encouraged, ashtrays are placed on benches on the communal balconies. Needless to say that during my 8 day stay , I was a passive smoker , if which I absolutely despise. Many early mornings I was awoken by the the smell of cigarette smoke. The legal right of non-smokers need to be protected! Secondly, the sofas in my apartment is in need of steam cleaning as it is smelly and on the sides of the seating area on the sofas, a lot of previous dirt was found . Vacuum cleaning will help , too . Lastly , the establishment is a little paradise and if , my concerns are addressed , of which are reasonable, I would highly recommend THE BIRDHOUSE BED AND BREAKFAST!
