Had the 6 oysters and 2 glasses of bubbly special which was quite good, although I felt there could have been more bubbly in the glass. The margaritas were really lovely. Had a calamari and hake platter for mains. It was just alright. The portion size was quite generous. We also had the half price sushi special since it was a Sunday. The sushi was good but not the best. I wish our waiter told us about it before we ordered. The service was also not the fastest although the place wasn’t too full. Keen to have a second visit and try more food from their menu.
Amazing food experience. Unfortunately were after sunset, otherwise must have been amazing view on the terrace. Great food experience from shots, aperitif, starters and mains. Calamari for starters - great. Seafood platter - for 1 person with sauces and chips, rice - fabulous. Really fresh seafood /fish. Recommend.
Was unfortunately underwhelmed by the quality of the food. The service was great though. We received a warm welcome at the door and our waitress was polite. The prices are quite reasonable. The ocean view is the best thing about the restaurant, oh and the chocolate fondant dessert was really good
Our waitress was so welcoming and sweet she made sure we was satisfied with our food. The views are immaculate especially in the evening! Nothing better then the sunset, a glass of bubbly and some pasta which was cooked to perfection. And ending it of with some lovely chocolate pudding!
My time spent at Blowfish Restaurant on Saturday morning was absolutely amazing. From the moment my friend and I arrived we were made welcome. We attended a Women's Day function organized by the effervescent Lee-Ann Singer. The brunch was absolutely delicious. It was a morning full of fun, great speakers and loads of laughter. The staff were so wonderful, so organized and cheerful.
Very friendly staff. Our waitress, Beatrice, was a star and gave us great service. Food was delicious and the portions are good. Real value for money. I'll definitely come again.
I loved our visit to Blowfish restuarant at Dolphins Beach hotel. The service was great and the food was too sweat. My friend had a salad and I got them prawns. Sweet heavens, it was life itself. And then we got to go to the beach after that.
Great food, the waitress was very accommodating of my friend who is a vegan. The produced the sushi /role player all vegan. The ambience was not to great. It feels a little "unromantic" and more like a cafeteria. Having said that the views are breathtaking.
Booked in advance and very helpful. Greeted by very friendly staff. Make sure to look at their menu online to make deciding easier. Full wine list For starters I had chicken livers with poppadoms and man what an amazing starter. For mains, I had the Solo Seafood Platter and everything was made perfect Oh and don't forget about the awsme sushi You will definitely see us again and thank you for a memorable experience. They have the most reasonably priced seafood platters I had in Cape Town and there was variety in the way the different elements were prepared. Everything was tasty and fresh and the atmosphere is great with such an amazing view. It's also quite a kid friendly place with great menu options for kids and they provide an activity to keep them busy. I would definitely recommend it for a romantic dinner to a family outing, it's the perfect occasion for all. Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu which also doubles as an activity to keep the kids busy. Loved it! Wheelchair accessibility: There's a wheelchair ramp when entering the premises.
