My son and I Arrived at 11am which was relatively empty. Went to the front desk and was told by the receptionist to have a seat to have our BP taken, which i initially thought was going to go quick seeing that there wasnt alot of patients before us.... Well to our dismay we waited for 2 hours with not one staff come out during that time to check up or make rounds. Until i decided to knock on one of the doors to see if there were any staff around, spoke to one of the nuses on duty and asked if clinic was open and where the staff were as we had been waiting for 2hours with no help. To which the nurse responded that the one whose supposed to be taking out BP was on lunch! At which i asked how long lunch was she said she didn't knw how long, angry now i said the decent thing to do was to at least let the patients knw that the nurse was going on lunch for such a period of time and patients could've decided whether or not to go and come back or remain... Only after I'd made a big fuss that same nurse came out to help us and in no time we were out of there within 15min... This is so sad that the sick have to wait so long while the staff on duty takes their time on lunch having no compassion on the ill nor showing zeal or appreciation for their duty as nurses or where they are working... We are human beings not robots so when we're ill waiting for so long not being taken into consideration and completely forgotten that we also have lives to get back to and thats not to spend a whole day unnecessarily at a clinic thats empty! Im not saying dont take your lunch but at least have the decency to make arrangements for a replacement or let the patients knw its just common etiquette. Treat the patients with love and respect!
The admin clerk at the front desk Mr Khumalo is so rude and disrespectful he has no regard for patients and looked very irritated at 8am in the morning as if he's over his job. He did not ask a single question nor explain anything. He has no manner of approach and I will be taking this further.
Dysfunctional dysfunctional! One person tells you to go there, u get there they tell u to join there. You join there u get told people in that queue aren't going where u going u need to move. You ask staff where u should go they dont know. Admin staff very rude. One lady ignored me whilst i asked so politely which queue i should join with my sick child. Nurses were willing to assist but tjo the admin and support staff at this clinic are rude. So disappointed. Had to go seek medical assistance elsewhere because i was clearly not going to get any here after spending a good 3hours.
Dysfunctional system. Since Covid-19, no order with lines and directions. No-one to direct you, and everyone says different things. When you ask a question about where to go, you are asked to follow a very long line. Pharmacy closes before patients leave which defeats purpose of patient care. Irrespective of being short staffed, they lack order and even some, professionalism.
I've been going to these premises for over a year and never had bad attitudes from the sisters until yesterday, when I arrived at 14h00 and once my card was taken to sit outside, which was understandable with COVID-19, but once I got to see a sister at 14:50, was given 2 months meds, and because they were making arrangements to all leave for the day, which by the way says clinic is open until 9 on their website I had to come back in 2 months time to get another lot if medication and I MUST make sure I get there at 07:30, so that she has time to put me back on the MEDICATION DELIVERY system, IS THIS WHAT WE ARE NOW SUBJECTED TO??? THEIR RULES AND THEIR HOURS???
