[Update: Build It has responded to my complaint and taken action.] My experience at Build It today was awful, simply because of one employee's bad attitude. I had to collect my purchases from the yard. It was raining. But rain shouldn't stop your business. I drove into the yard and was directed to the back. The employees were standing under the shed roof. I waited to be helped. None of them moved. So I reversed and drove back to where they were standing, and wound down my window. Only for an employee to aggressively ask me if I could see it was raining and did I expect him to help me in the rain. The conversation went downhill from there. Because honestly, I did expect him to help. I expect that Build It will ensure when it is raining, that their employees have the necessary raincoats and protective wear to be able to do their jobs out in the yard. I don't expect a manager to tell me they issue rainwear three times a year and they cannot help if their staff decide to use them. Because they can help. If it's raining, send out a supervisor and make sure at least a couple of staff are able to help your customers collect their purchases in the yard. Ironically, ever since BuCo opened the staff inside Build It have upped their friendliness and service. And most of the time, I get great service, that I do appreciate. But today one of Build It's team players let them down. He was aggressive, rude and unhelpful.

I'm updating my review by now writing a comment, because I was at your store today. Been too hectic with the move to do a proper review. Recently moved into the area, and have contacted your store for many things, by phone and preordered building materials before I moved here, great efficient service, and delivery on time Today, was a walk in, great service. Your staff are helpful and efficient. Your store is well laid out. Keep up the good work.

Always met by friendly helpfull staff
Very convenient to have a Built It branch so close from where we stay. Nothing is so frustrating to run out of supplies midstream in working on a project. No fuss of getting in my car and quickly go and get more supplies. Since the first buy I trust Built It to always have the essentials. Never disappointed. Very neat and clean. Easy to find what you are looking for. Friendly and attentive staff. Recommend this store without a second thought.
