Welcome to Hermanus Build It!

After ten years of planning, we opened this flagship store and family business in March 2016. Hermanus Build It was designed in such a way so as to serve you best! All of our departments are ideally laid out and our offices are in the middle of our store, allowing you personalised access to top management if you need it.

Our focus is customer service and all our staff are there to make your shopping experience the best possible! We also have a strong focus on community support, and have fallen absolutely in love with the people, places and community spirit in Hermanus.

Disappointed! Since my last review a year ago things have gone downhill. I phoned to find out the price of a sheet of shutterply and the lady was not very helpful aside from the fact that she spoke so fast I had difficulty understanding her. She did not know how big a sheet was and had to find out from somebody else. Then told me only the length so had to go back and find out the width. All on my phone bill! Temba of the paint mixing fame is still excellent!
Very spacious well organized. Fair pricing with some important specials. Only objection: many of the products do no have a price tag or price on the shelves, so you have to ask to scan or look on the computer, which is an inconvenience.
