Was in the area and decided to get halal burger king before I leave. Went at 3.45pm, it was load shedding, the staff told me the lights will be back at 4pm. The lights came back at 4.15pm. The staff then took their own grandfathers time to open up again and was only served at 5 pm. This is terrible for business especially in these tough times!! I ordered 2 whoppers and a piece side breast, they gave me a thigh and the chicken was horrible. The whoppers were amazing as ever though. Staff should be given a load shedding time table or owner should put a generator!
It was nice. The food was good. I got no complaints about the service. The only bummer is that there isn't really a nice place to sit down. It's also very open, if the seating was closed off, could have been better.Food: 5/5
I will never support this burger king again. I will rather drive further to a decent branch where I know I can get fresh food and order the meals with bacon on it. We could not order any of the bacon meals because it is a halaal supported branch. They don't even have macon it the bacon place. The fries was not fresh and the mozzerella stick was old. I love burger king but this branch will not see me again. While we waited for our food food was removed from our order to fill another order meaning we had to wait longer.
Always something missing on the menu. Order through Mr D and the burger is tiny compared to other places. The other meal that was order we asked for no garnish but then it comes with no jalapeños even though we didn't state no jalapeños. Won't be ordering food from them again. Will rather drive out my way to the others. Oh and if you read all the other reviews, it can be seen that the responses are just copy paste all the time and clearly nothing gets done about it.
I am extremely disappointed they didn't have power generators in place as backup for loadshedding and it was during lunch time 12pm I planned a 1 hour trip to specifically visit the Key West branch of Burger King because it's Halaal and as I arrived loadshedding occurred. It's really frustrating because loadshedding is 2 hours and Burger King is risking 2 hours of business during lunch time. Extremely disappointed and I won't be coming back ever
Only leaving one star because i cant leave 0. I ordered a plant based whopper meal and a chilli cheese meal, recieved a small chicken burger and there was real beef on the plant based burger, now im ill. Also ordered two drinks and only recieved one. I paid for extra jalapenos on my burger too and didnt get them.
Fresh food and friendly stuff . I took my little girl there on her birthday. It was so affordable. I paid about R200 for 4 people's meals. I love their gold crowns too. The only thing I dislike about their setup is the open plan sitting outside the shop. It's a bit impersonal. More privacy could work well for their business.
Although the food was good, the eating area was dirty, nobody came out to clean or wipe the tables, the bin was overflowing.Food: 4/5
Ordered through Uber Eats. The driver waited for the food, took over a hour just to prepare the food. 2 Burgers, chips and onion rings. The onion rings, chips and burgers were stone cold. Onion rings and chips were soggy and tasted like it was made the previous day. Very dissapointed in this. Also it was not the drivers fault as he got here in under 10 minutes from the pickup. Definitely lost a customer.
Dirty and so unprofessional....not impressed at all I'll stick to tambotie mall burger king they clean friendly and sp welcoming
