The food was great, the people were awesome and the vibe was fun! We always love visiting Italian food places and this one is definitely one of the best I’ve ever been to in South Africa. I would definitely recommend popping in and having a meal or two! We have been here a couple of times and each time everything was spectacular!!
I did not think I'd find such good pizza's in Haenertsburg. Super impressed. If you're looking for Neopolitan style pizza's, this is not the place to come, but they do great thin base, crispy crust pizza's with good quality ingredients. The pizza menu itself has some strange combos, I just made up one myself. They have a pretty decent, albeit small wine list that caters to all tastes and pockets. We were served by Bishop, great guy. Attentive but not too in your face the whole time. We will definitely be back.
The service is amazing. The food is to die for and beautiful scenery you won't regret visiting this place
Stunning food, the waiter staff was excellent.
With a recommendation for the best pizza in that area from a local, we stopped here on our way back to Jozi. The Diovolo pizza was just sublime with lots of mince, lovely crushed chilli and the most amazing crust. My wife hasd the creamy garlic snails which was an absolute winner. Glad we had lots of bread to mop up that yummy sauce after you’ve devoured the tasty snails. They also serve the excellent Shama chilli sauce. The créme brûlée was also good. Definitely worth a stop and easy to find being the first restaurant on the left on the Main Street in town.
Lovely experience! The decor is outdated, but the food and staff make up for it. We were served enormous portions by a very friendly waitress. Good value for money.
A year ago we came here for the first time, wow what an amazing experience. The freshness of the produce used, the" homemade" dough and then their "homemade" tomato base which blew us away it was clear that their "homemade" sauces and dough was the signature of this establishment. Sadly this year we did not share the same burst of flavors experience as we did the last time. The tomato base was absent and where presented bland and did not pack the same punch of flavor. The mushroom and pepper sauces were avarage but enjoyable. The bases of our swarmas were not as good as the last time. All in all a good but not amazing experience. It felt like the restaurant had changed owners. The staff are friendly and the place is nice but I can't understand why you would fix something that was NOT broken.
The food is prepared with love, great people and the owner even came to have a chat with us, great restaurant and best service I have had in a long time, would recommend anyone to stop here and relax, eat something and take in nature that is around this restaurant, beautiful place.Food: 5/5
Although the service was excellent, the food was terrible. We ordered lasagne, which swam in fat and oil. This is not a difficult dish to make - just read the back of the Fatti's and Moni's box! and use fresh and quality ingredients. My chicken livers were as bad. Not a good experience at all.
Neat little old skool pizzeria with friendly staff. The setup is that of a school cafeteria. The place can get a bit smokey because of the baking, frying and braaing happening in the kitchen, you might want to sit outside if your asthmatic. The food was nothing to write home about but overall good experience
