Cala la Pasta Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria

Ate here with a group of 26 American students studying Nutrition, & Outstanding work everybody loved their food which was Odered... If you have a bit off time on your hands come here... Freshly made food & filling to thank you for the time here... Friendly staff makes a great difference... We had a resavation and everything was perfect when arrived.

Great Italian food and a nice selection of beer and wine. We visited twice in our five days in Hoedspruit. First night we had a garlic pizza to start, and then pasta. The second night we had pizza. Both nights were great. I tried some of the local beer which was the best i had in South Africa, and my partner had very nice wine

We came to Hoedspruit to watch the World Cup game and were really impressed with the friendly service and great staff and owners. The prices of the pizzas are good but be careful when ordering extra toppings their price are ABSURD. I ordered a margerita pizza R70 and added olives. There were two olive slices per slice of pizza. For 16 olive slices I paid 28 RAND. The cost of my pizza increased by 40% for less than 8 olives. Complete ripoff.

Best pizza in Hoedspruit by FAR! Prices are reasonable and the staff are incredibly friendly. The manager is the owner and the whole atmosphere is very welcoming. Highly recommend.

Worst pizza ever had. One was a dry pizza with no tomoto base or cheese or anything on it except just some old rocket dried out rocket. Really!. Had to through all three away and eat rusks for dinner.

The food is just amazing. Loads of flavours, service a bit slow... But your on holiday, it is worth the wait. With loads of different options.

Good honest Italian food. Well made with good quality ingredients. Wine List is fair.

The restaurant is not good because we waited literally 1,5 hours for our meal. When we finally got our meal, it tasted horrible, so we couldn't eat it.

Great food, wonderful atmosphere and lovely, friendly people. Will definitely go back there.
