I bought a packet of cape cookies buttermilk rusks this morning. The photo on the box shows beautiful golden rusks. The actual rusks are dark brown and looks burnt. No resemblance to any "buttermilk" rusk, I've ever seen
They have changed the recipe for snackcrax....they were always my favorite, after tasting the "new and improved" version, I'm so disappointed, first I thought they were stale....I cant even eat then, the texture is just horrible, not the same, I'll have to buy salticrax from here on.....why did they change them I wonder, they were perfet
We bought the "Luxury Assortment" and the taste is below average. To be honest we expected more individual flavour from each "cookie", but they all basically taste the same. Will probably not buy them again.
Absolutely love this palace they are really friendly people and masters at cookie baking and the cookies world class and very tasty.
What can you expect here? A scrumptious Sunday afternoon 'mummy just baked a cake' smell. So delicious you wilk forget you are not supposed to eat cookies this week! Folk are as lovely as their cookies!!
Cape Cookies is a Cookies unique to Cape Town. They sell home style cookies to the public by creating a job opportunity for agents to sell their cookies and crackers. They also sell to retailers. Situated in the heart of the community they are serving. Many unemployed Capetonians earn a living by selling Cape Cookies products to family, friends and their communities. They also offer a reward for annual by sales and honour their top sellers at their annual awards event

Great biscuits and rusks but unfortunately I got the sad news today that their factory shop in Maitland has closed down and no longer sells to the public
