Delicious meals. The view of Table Mountain is breath taking. My brother stated that the sushi is the best he’s ever had. The prawns could have had a bit more lemon, as the lemon squeezed over wasn’t enough. Everything else was fantastic. They also have really nice craft beer.
We called to book a table for 6 pax at short notice, and Catch 22 thankfully had a table available for us, even though this restaurant is rather popular! Service was great, food was absolutely delicious! Our table had ordered seafood and meat combos, chicken salad, fish and chips, and sushi, and every meal was perfectly prepared! We found that their meal options are well priced. We will most definitely be back!
Beautiful views, great service and delicious, fresh food equals a Saturday well spent. Besides the glittering views of Blouberg Beach and the iconic Table Mountain, the best thing about Catch 22 is the food. It's fresh, it's well cooked and reasonably priced too. The small plates in particular were fantastic. Catch 22 is located in a popular spot in Blouberg on Marine Drive and there are a few eating places in the same place so, depending on the time, parking might be difficult, but it's still well worth the visit.
Great views here and our waiter was very friendly and cheerful. I ordered a poke bowl and it was fresh, as well as cheesecake for dessert which was lovely and creamy. However, the waiting time was too long.Food: 4/5
A hidden gem of a decent seafood dining experience. Lunch time ambiance was befitting to the ideal weather conditions and stunning seaview. Our waiter was consistent and a serving of 3 starters fitted the occasion perfectly. Well done guys...
The restaurant is a lovely place with a beautiful setting. It is not disabled friendly as there are steep stairs to climb to access the restuarant. The staff could do with some training. A diner at our table had to ask for ice 3 times. Then the food order was messed up even though it was written down by the server and she repeated it back to us. The food was presented well and appetizingly. The prawns were a bit dry but the rest of the meal was pleasant. They place a service charge on tables of 6 or more regardless of whether it is deserved or not. Vegetarian options: I did not have a vegetarian meal but an acquaintance had a pokè bowl as she is vegetarian. Parking: There is only street parking available Wheelchair accessibility: I did not see a wheelchair access nor was it offered to me. I am on crutches so climbing the stairs was a bit daunting.
This restaurant has the perfect venue with amazing views of table mountain & the Blouberg beach. There is a fresh trendy vibe & l appreciate the humour used in the menu. We had a trainee waiter , she was great & really trying hard. The food falls a little short, the sushi was drenched in too much sauce that it over powered the taste. The fried food is almost soggy with oil. However l did enjoy the grilled fish. The Choc lava didn't have much lava. My Cosmo didn't have a balanced tasteI think with a little fine tuning in the taste/sauces served this establishment could really live up to the views.
Catch 22 had lovely food a good view, however the service was slow and the wait long. We moved inside to get attention because they don't even come check-up if you still ok with waiting. The drinks took forever to arrive. Food: 5/5
Ordered their steak and prawns on the MrD App, steak perfectly made, prawns I wish had a little more seasoning salad was delicious. The restaurant is right by the beachfront, had a delicious strawberry daiquiri the last time I was there.Glad to have the same quality of food when ordering in too. What an amazing experience! The food is delicious and freshly prepared. The staff is fantastic and the vibe wonderful. Highly recommend!
