Used to enjoy going here, but based on the last two visits, we won't be back. The interior of the restaurant is old and run down, which I was happy to overlook when the food and service used to be great. Sadly, that's no longer the case - the last fillet steak I had was very disappointing and the baked potato I ordered turned out to be a sad collection of overcooked miniature baby potatoes. Our waitress wasn't particularly friendly, nor did she seem to have any passion for her job. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
A very, very poor dining experience! We ordered sirloin champignon, one of their specialities. We ordered the steaks medium rare expecting a little pink inside. The meal took more than 40 minutes to arrive not a problem, seeing my friend and I had some catching up to do. When it came it was overdone and the meat was very tough. We sent it back and the second round was hardly better. This place charges a premium, but is absolutely a waste of money. What a rip-off! Not surprising that there were only 3 or 4 tables of diners. And one group walked out, unsatisfied with their food. Do better!!!
The date night option on Thursdays is value for money. The food was divine and didn't take long to arrive. The sweet potato chips were amazing. Friendly service. Being a bit fussy I don't really like the location or the decor of the restaurant. But the food definitely makes up for it. I'd definitely go back.
Delicious meal. Love all the daily specials which are affordable and enables cash strapped people to enjoy a meal out. Keep it up with your specials. Food was delicious and service great.Recommended dishesChicken Schnitzel
Booked a table for 19h00, by 20h40 we still didn't have a table so we went and sit in the smoking area the moment a table opened up as it seemed bookings are being completely ignored and people are just grabbing seats as they wish. Only received our food by 21h45... 15mins before they started sweeping floors and closing down... Nothing about the night was pleasant, utterly disappointed. Actively avoiding this Tableview Cattle Baron.
We don't go often as we usually go when family come from overseas. This is our place for fillet steak. In all the times we have been there it's been awesome, food and service. Our last experience the service was poor and most of all the steaks were over cooked and one order was incorrect. Our family are coming out again in December but sadly don't want to come back. It's not cheap meals we talking about!
This is one of the few,if not the only Cattle Baron branch that offers a pensioners lunch @ a most affordable price.... talk about value for money The waitron,Mathew was rather pleasant & checked regularly if all still in order....Food: 4/5

Not one to normally complain as everyone has bad days, but wow! We had 4 people, of which 2 people had the best experience! Whilst me and my partner not so much. My partner and I both ordered medium steaks, and they came out nowhere near medium, but rather bloody and blue still - but shrugged it off and sent it back for a little longer as we thought maybe everyone sees medium differently. And when him and I received these steaks back, they had removed all toppings that originally came with the steak!! My partner had a blackened pepper steak, and it came back without the sauce. And I ordered a Nevada steak with avo, Camembert cheese and bacon on top and when I sent it back I put all the toppings to the side hoping they would send it back with it but nothing. We both just left it as we understand sometimes there might be issues in the kitchen etc etc, but when you are paying that amount for a plain steak when you asked for all the above mentioned with it? Not happy. Anyways, nevertheless, our waitress was spectacular and very kind! Despite the bad experience with the food, she was very kind and we enjoyed her company very much. Maybe a bit more consideration should be taken when sending food back to the table after the first mishap!
