I love the sushi evenings on Fridays. This is our local spot on Fridays. Have some live music some times which is awesome. Good food and staff that don't bother u too much. Only let down is that one sometimes wait too long for your order when the place gets crowded but a lekker place to have a bite to eat ,a drink and just relax after a long week.
Zero for this business for having zero concern about his community, always burning their rubbish when they leave the property so that those around him can enjoy his air pollution every night you go to bed or wake up in the morning. Illegal. Selfish. Even the fire brigade responding to his own fire.
Service is great especially the waiter Noah. I would say he is the best. Makes this place feel like home and everyone like family. Great place for families and friends for a calm sushi night out. I would definitely recommend their California rolls
The place is nice, they offer catering services. It has nice greenery if you want to take pictures, it also has a pond,It just needs to be groomed outside. The venue is big and accommodates a lot of people. They have a lot of parking spaces as well.
We went for the all you can eat sushi, my assumption is that due to the vast amount of sushi being made and consumed, not enough effort is put into each plate. The sauces on the sushi were flavorless, one of the items was a drop of mayonnaise with sweet chili sauce poured over it. The food is not well presented. When going for this option, bear in mind that there is a penalty of R5 per piece of sushi that you order but do not eat.
Food were very average almost like that of a school hostel. Nothing special. The upkeep of the restaurant is also not up to standard. We visited early 2018 and the food was delicious and the place looked good, but now a year later the service is poor food were not good and the place looked as if no upkeep has been done. Won't see us again!
The views from the room were very beautiful. I was lucky enough to get the honeymoon suite which is an entirely gorgeous room on its own. However, the lodge seems to be undergoing massive construction which can be a bit noisy. The minor details in the room need fixing, for example the shower head seemed to be missing and most of the taps seemed to have no top bits. Furthermore, no one came to clean up the room over the 2 days I was staying there which was a bit of a bummer. I will give this place a second chance for the view, but only once the construction is complete.
Service is way to slow and if you of colour don't bother checking up in you. I had to go inside every time we needed to order drinks etc but their cocktails and sushi is the only amazing thing about this place
Under new ownership. No lights on path to the rooms. Dustbin was still full from previous people. Only one towel for 2 people in room. The waiters very loud. Food was not up to standard. Coffee machine not working!Will never go back.
What a big disappointment it was for us. First time we visited this place, made a booking for fathers day for 4 people, got confirmation bookings was made. Got there on Sunday and our booking was cancelled without even having the decency to contact us to say it was cancelled. What a humiliation and embarrassment for us. The waiters thought this was a big joke, they made fun of us coming all the way and that for nothing, they just laugh and laugh and said we must just sit and wait and if a table is available they will let us know. We left I will never visit this unprofessional place again.
