I just had a bad experience at my local "SuperSpar". I bought a few things and after paying I noticed that the doritos which is advertised on there website as on special didn't reduce I approached a supervisor After the "experience" I asked her name and she identified herself as "Chance"my wife showed her the slip as well as the leaflet on the Century SuperSpar website by which she responded its not there store. I showed her on the website it's clearly there store which she wasn't happy that the customer was right. It's not the first time I had a similar experience at this Spar. I told her to call her manager. After a while a manager "Amanda" came down and also tried to deny the special. I also had to hear she's on lunch so her assisting me was probably special treatment. After I asked her and Chance why does the clients know the store and specials better than the staff I was informed they not a Superspar "anymore" but she will assist me. She's not doing me any favors. That's the price that I should be paying. I told her kindly to leave it because on the slip they a superspar and all there signage is superspar. People be wakeup when parting with your hard earned money because you likely to be ripped off and numerous ridiculous excuses will be told why they stealing your money!
I Love this Spar. It is in a dodgy Location but the staff, managers and security are very friendly and helpful. They always have great specials and the store is always Nice and clean. God bless you all at Spar

Pathetic like usual. Bad communication skills. I once checked the parking lot was full of cars and more than half was people that went to bottle store.
Bought large sugar cones only to find 6 of the 12 broken and unusable. The other 6 was stale and the guest's were unable to chew it. Embarrassing to say the least!

8th August . Definitely a more pleasant shopping experience than it was at the beginning of the year. And the check outs seem to be always manned by pleasant ladies . June 7th . Before 10am is a great time to pay water & electricity. No queues. The whole shop has a more welcoming feel . And the shelves are well stocked . April 30 . Very few customers before 10 makes it easier to shop. No Portuguese rolls . No gypsy ham. No price on the shelf with the corned beef . Does anyone from Spar actually take any notice of my comments ?? April 4 . Is it my imagination or are the shelves really stocked better than they were ? It is a less unpleasant place to shop than it was a few weeks ago . March 19 . The Daily Maverick newspaper is on sale . Fabulous . Its a great weekly newspaper . Hard hitting factual exposure of corruption & cadre employment here in SA . I urge all to buy the best newspaper I'm SA. March 5th . Hand sanitiser at entrance is empty . Nobody from Spar seems to care . I really hope that someone from Spar is reading. Big damage to the Spar brand is being done by Superspar , Parow . March 2nd . No gammon . Appalling. I got gammon at Plattekloof Spar , where there is lots of stock . I also bought other groceries so Parow lost out double. Feb 20. Guy walked all the way through the store with no face mask . And was not stopped once by the security or staff. Appalling Jan 4th . Lettuce did not have a label on it when I got to check out . Had to wait while the checkout lady went to find a label with a bar code . No price at all on the shelf fir the bag of tomatoes . Not impressed at all. Dec 30 . Very helpful Spar lady helped me buy water for the flat . Dec 28. Friendly checkout lady Dec 21 . Very unimpressed with this SPAR . The opening hours notice is incorrect. There were only packs of 6 extra large eggs . Business lost to them : I bought from Picknpay.
Pricewise it's average but dome things they don't stock. The tops is sometimes expensive and specials only last 2 days
