The place is beautiful and would be great to visit during warm season. We went there with my friends and the room had no aircon or heater to keep warm, it was cold. Apparently, we had to hire it from reception, ata cost. Nonetheless it's a beautiful lodge and the staff is very friendly. I rated it a 3 on service because there was no hot water in our bathroom. There might have been a fault somewhere, but we had to make a plan so that we could bath. Rooms: Clean and big Nearby activities: Close to a lot of amenities Safety: Perfectly safe Walkability: There's a park and tuckshops nearby Food & drinks: 10 minutes away from a shopping mall
Fabulous Lodge!! This was our second time staying at Ciara Lodge. This year we stayed 9 nights and again absolutely loved our stay!! The lodge area is very safe, secure and centrally located. The chalets are beautifully decorated, very clean and with comfortable beds often king size. We LOVED that the lodge had a refreshing pool. The owners, Piet and Caroline, were so kind, welcoming and flexible especially as our flight back to Canada was delayed. We would highly recommend the Ciara Lodge for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

We booked a Ciara Lodge; Karoo Huisie for a gimnastic tour at Tuks. The owners treated us so good. Had a marvelous time. Would gladly recommend them. Thank you!!! Rooms: Great! Safety: Very safe!

We had to make a last minute trip to Pretoria. Ciara Lodge owners were very accommodating and helpful. We were only able to arrive after 7.30 and they waited for us which i am extremely grateful for. The rooms were peaceful and very tidy and neat.Rooms: 5/5

Extremely awesome self catering place. The rooms are clean and feel "homey". They have all essential utensils that you will need,especially in the kitchen. From knives, plates, graters and even toasters! Indeed all you need to bring is your food and yourself. I had an awesome stay here and would recommend it to anyone.
We booked the Tarentaal cottage. The cottage was very neat and clean and beautifully furnished. The garden is well kept with a fenced swimming pool. Enjoyed the fountain infront of the cottage.Rooms: 5/5
