VC SPAR!! I will be placing an official complaint and request to inspect with the Department of Health, unfortunately this is the 5th time that food purchased from this Spar has given myself and my children severe food poisening. Unfortunately the first twi times I had purchased food fron this establishment myself,with a vow to never purchase their food again, family members on the other hand made the other 3 purchases,and yesterday was the fifth time! Today myself,38 yo woman,and my two sons 19 and 5 , have been bed ridden,in serious abdomible pain, severe diarrhea, naseau and constant vomiting has stricken us to a point of exhaustion. With diagnoses of food poisening yet again, originating from consuming the food prepared at this Spar. How dare you serve customers tainted food! Repeatedly! The disregard in adhereing to basic food preparation and storage regulations is clearly evident! This is dangerous,shameful!

VC Spar is to me a great success story. The owner is very involved in the community. He is not shy to sponcer products for a good cause or assist where needed. Just to visit the shop is a very pleasant experience. It is always clean even in the parking lot. The personal is very friendly and helpful. The listen and will go the extra mile to assist. Brakpan is very rich to have this Spar in town.
For 6 years I supported this place and their staff treat you like they are doing you a favour. Client service is so bad that I will not support them any longer. Enough now!!!!!
To the shop in its whole capacity, it's always a good experience shopping here. To some of the staff, friendliness cost nothing, greeting a customer makes the world's difference. Watching this lady getting irritated with this man.
I refuse to shop here. Haven't gone to the store in 4 months, then visited once to see if anything changed. Still very low on stock, especially promo items. Bakery only has standard things. Many items not in stock straight throughout the store. Very sad seeing that I used to ONLY buy from them, and no assistance if you ask about items out of stock. I asked about no stock on hot dog buns one Friday at 17h00 and the manager said its not his fault people buy stuff. This store has so much potential..
Used to be the best but lately not...There's hardly ever any cold meats etc, service is slow, good out of stock.
Superspar VC is the communities go to local supermarket for the daily needs of your house. If you are in these Brakpan suburbs dalview dalpark, sunairpark, kenleaf etc. You can go here for a quick bread, snack or average household items. Liquor store and bilting store located here too! There is also a pizza perfect across the toad where you can have a drink while you wait!
Meat heavily overpriced, milk is expensive, dont ever buy their fresh produce, it lasts a couple hours, flowers are hugely overprised.
Most of the time there are nothing you looking for if you asking they pulled up there shoulders sorry bad experience
