Huge thank you to Veronica and Thando! You made our day. My friend and I went for the Truth package and these ladies gave us the best service and we were so impressed by their work ethic and friendliness! Such an amazing spoil and venue! New favourite spot. The restaurant on the fourth floor is also a must!
Spa is much smaller than anticipated. The massage therapists were not very good, they just ignored certain areas. They seemed very inexperienced. The therapists spa etiquette is also not as one would expect from such an expensive spa. The facial lotions did not smell good. All in all not worth the price.
Lost 2 pieces of sentimental jewelry my first time there! 2 necklaces were removed from my neck without my consent! Put them in the gown after treatment and never saw them again ! How can house keeping workers not check gowns worn by clients for valuables before sending to outsourced laundry services?! I believe my chains were stolen. They couldn't have just fallen out those deep pockets! Don't think I will ever return there and won't recommend!
Booked a summer back/shoulder scrub, massage, and facial. The scrub was understandably rough but the therapist kept rubbing the same spot over and over again making the experience painful and very unpleasant. She then stayed in the room adding on new bedding as I was rinsing off giving me absolutely no privacy. She tried giving me a breast cover as a hair net and told me I just didn't know how to use it. Massage was ok but she continued with the same repeated motions in one spot, rubbing me raw. What really got me though was during my facial, instead of letting me relax and enjoy it I was asked all sorts of questions about my facial routine and then had her tell me what I was doing wrong. She then started trying to sell me all their products claiming every 2 min that they're "anti-aging". It was quite insulting. Even as I was paying the receptionist was giving my masseuse nods whenever she needed to introduce a new product to me. My husband had the same package deal and they didn't ask him one question about his facial routine, and not once tried to sell something to him. Did it ever occure to anyone that women just want to enjoy themselves too without feeling like they're imperfect and need some product to make them look/feel better? Definitely not going here again!
Very lovely and relaxing spa. Kind team I had 3 treatments all beautiful and well made
I visited Da Vinci Spa at the end of 2016. I booked a wax, manicure and pedicure. My therapist was lovely but the three treatments took three and a half hours. I waited in the waiting room for 30/45 mins for my therapies just to begin. There seemed to be double-booked therapists and the quality of the treatments were not up to spa standards. My manicure lasted 24 hours and my wax was inconsistent. The cost was ridiculous and I will never return to this so called up market spa!
Welcoming staff, best service received. I'll most definitely visit again.
Amazing facilities and treatments. Will be back!!!
