Wish i could give this place zero stars. Went to hospital under extreme stress and discomfort, the doctor showed no compassion. The male assistant had a good attitude. After explaining my issues i was given medication that i specifically said did not help me.. The doctor in charge Dr Singh refused to give me a script for medication i know helps me, because it would be medically unprofessional. She refused to give me her name. She abruptly told me to "get up" from the bed as she walked towards me from a distance after dispensing meditation i did not need. I later went back into the hospital to return the medication and ask for a referral to another hospital, when i was told that she cannot treat me and give a referral for admission. She did say i needed admission but that daymed did not take discovery keycare plus patients and that if she did give me one I'd need to pay. Its absolutely shocking how she quickly examined me without any real care.
This hospital only cares about money. They wait so long before actually taking action. My grandad was admitted for severe back pain and could not sleep in a bed. Very little done to make him comfortable and no action was taken to really help him. We flew him to joburg and literally In one night his scan was done and doctors went out their way to arrange a comfortable chair for him in Icu where he will be monitored constantly. Just shows how big the gap is in service and compassion between PMB hospitals and other provinces. Totally disgusted
DAYMED ITS A NICE PLACE TO WORK ITS STREESS FREE
Currently in hospital being treated for a lung infection. I received great treatment from the ICU staff nurses I was in icu 11 from Monday 11 October 2022. The ICU Dr, Physiotherapist, the kitchen staff.dietician. it was a pleasant stay and I am so greatful to them for taking good care of me.
Avoid-physicians are not qualified in participatory medcine Will find excuses to milk medical aid-a scary place to be Greedy physicians
This pathetic excuse for a health care provider is shameful. Absolutely shameful. The doctor we encountered today was rude, rash and disgusting. I do not recommend daymed
Receptionists need to understand that they do not own the hospital and WE pay their salaries. The level of rudeness is indescribable. All I asked was if the hospital was apart of the discovery network and got a mouthful from 2 people. I will NEVER go back there or allow my family to go there.
Thanking daymed for treating ,caring and getting me back on my feet. Thanks to the doctor on ground floor who admitted me immediately. She saw I was very ill. Thanks to all in the high care and thanks to Dr YA Mohammed who always cared , encouraging, got to root of the problem that was making me so ill, this doctor is loaded with passion and dedication treating the ill. In private ward I thank Mr David, Mr Pillay and all nurses who took care of me . I was in Daymed for 7 days. Thanks to the messenger who delivered my daily PJs which my son left at reception. Admitting was helpful and efficient. What else can I say. Dr DayAnand you have a wonderful team, keep up the good work. From your patient, Logan Reddy, Kirsch curtains.Admitted 15 august 2020.
This has been the second time being admitted to Daymed and I must say at 1st I was skeptical but have received excellent service right from admission Kuben to ward staff in L3all that have been on duty and the paramedicsÀnele and Joe who never left me for a second and their patience as I had like a 3 and a half hour wait at another hospitalfor scans and a specialist visit. Also to Dr S Sewgoolam and her PA's and Omesh Samaroo and Faranha for always being accommodating. Also to the staff at Jackparsad, Ampath and Lancet. Well done for the excellent service delivery.
Pathetic excuse for a health care facility. Poorly trained staff. Doctors show no interest towards patients. They could not even assist to stop an actively bleeding wound. Please do not attend this facility if you have a real emergency
