What a wonderful experience. There is a set menu which is incredible and loads of food. The homemade potjie bread, farm butter and mussels was my favorite and I ate way too much of it. So many courses followed and all were outstanding. You quickly make friends with other patrons, lovely vibe. You can bring your own cooler box for R100 or buy drinks at the bar, not expensive. Loads of parking. There is a bit of dirt road but the Toyota Corolla made it with ease.
Fabulous afternoon out. 7 courses. Great times. Only open on weekends. Have to book.
It was my first time dining at a De Vette Mossel establishment, and it was wonderful. The cuisine was excellent, and we loved the whole West Coast atmosphere. Will undoubtedly return!
Great place for family and friends. Family owned restaurant. Good value for money. You can even bring your own coolbox at no extra cork fee. We will definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: Lovely playground for the kids.

A lot of good food, and great for Sunday afternoon visit with friends, bring you own drinks and have a great time. You make your own atmosphere and they provide food to talk about. Kids should bring their swimming suits, perhaps have a dive in the damcusi.
De Vette Mossel Parys is a place where, as soon as you step through the entrance you are transported to an open air restaurant on the beach at the West-Coast of South Africa. You expect to hear waves breaking on the rocks and seagulls calling while flying overhead. What a great atmosphere and not even to start talking about the food. Must be the best snoek I have ever tasted. This is really a special place with great food, friendly hosts and a west-coast beach atmosphere. Great for families to have a wonderful afternoon out. Thank you to all at De Vette Mossel for a great experience.

A really amazing little spot that has some of the best seafood available anywhere in SA. It's a bring your own booze vibe which is amazing when you think of the amazing food available but is so much more chilled than many of the options on the west coast. You need to pace yourself but literally everything on offer is absolutely delicious. I can recommend you do lunch and enjoy the sun and swimming. I'll go back over and over again.
