Psychiatrist Dr Hanneke Malan: Warning for future ADHD evaluations done by this psychiatrist. SHE DOES NOT GIVE A REPORT TO CONFIRM HER DIAGNOSIS. I needed confirmation of diagnosis for my son to send to his online school, Impaq and she refused to confirm her diagnosis. She gives a verbal diagnosis and prescribes medication but will not confirm a diagnosis she made in writing. All the money we paid for the evaluation was lost as I had to re-evaluate him elsewhere. Her own word: “The school must just believe you.” End of discussion. Would not recommend her!
