Beautiful forest! We took a short walk and went up the tower for some pictures! 127m trail that goes 20 meters up so we were at tree level which was very nice! A good place for bird watching in the early morning according to our guide. I also stopped at the gift shop and got a cute woven bag and some earrings for about 120 rand. Beautiful work and beautiful place! Its not free to walk but i think its affordable!
Lovely walk in beautiful forests. Incredible birdlife! Staff were wonderful - friendly and helpful. Managed to tick off Lemon Dove at the hide!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Lovly and quit place, at the corner of the town. Peacfull walking trail, and a tower can look on the forest from high. Some old trees there of around 500 yesrs with very big trunk. Picnic area: There is some picnic table if you wan't to bring some food of yours, and sit down after the walk
So firstly... Please please please update your hours on Google. We arrived at 4.20pm expecting to be able to just do a quick walk through but were told it closes at 4.30pm. Secondly, when I asked the attendent where we are in the map on the wall she did not know. Surely that's a basic requirement for someone who is present here? Or better still, put a you are here marker on the map. I look forward to enjoying this forest walk someone in the future where I can actually give a review of the forest itself.
This is the most understated forest. It is absolutely beautiful and if you're ever close by or in the area, it's definitely worth the time. The staff are friendly and helpful. Follow the signs and the paths and you wont get lost. You'll see trees that are 500 years old. The boardwalk is open and you can climb to the top for a view over the forest.
This place is really a hidden gem. Beautiful forest walk and spectacular viewing tower. Well maintain with friendly staff in the heart of Eshowe. Beautiful South Africa.
Truly breathtaking! It was such a pleasure dealing with the staff - excellent service. I'd definitely recommend Dlinza Forest Aerial Boardwalk to all those seeking a unique adventure.
Absolutely spectacular beyond belief; a small taste of the once great forests that covered the area. The birdlife is amazing, and the walks are without equal. Highly recommended for any nature lover.
Super beautiful place. As long as there isn't any noise coming from the picnic area, you're likely to see a wide variety of bird species. Great views, not too badly kept and a peaceful, clean place all round. Try the trails out for a longer experience, just watch out for spiderwebs across them...get someone you don't really like to walk in front.
Magical place, it is a much larger forest than I expected! Entrance is R40 and worth every cent. The biggest surprise for me was 'the tower' - a platform that took you to the height of the tallest trees there
