So let me paint you the unfortunate realistic picture of DLK and how their business model operates. Firstly, you as the contractor are the least of their concerns. Their main focus is and will always be to capitalise on the back bone of the contractors. Your employment is based purely on the duration of the contract with their client, let me reiterate, they only have the client’s interest. You as the contractor need to keep in mind that you are disposable and replaceable at any point. This was my experience with DLK and I think it’s only fair that i make others aware of my experience so the next potential candidate is able to make an informed decision. Regards
I have been with DLK for the past 19 plus years and am proud to work with a dynamic and professional team. What I love about DLK is that we work as one big happy family together with a warm team spirit and a professional management team. I have seen the company grow and have an extremely good relationship with staff and past/present clients of DLK. DLK has given me the opportunity to grow from Receptionist/ PA to my current position in the Finance department. DLK offers on the job training and that helped me develop my skills which has established me. There is always room for growth at DLK it all depends on you.
Work life Balance: DLK group promotes a good work life balance where we are able to equally prioritize our career demands and our personal lives as well. Great working hours with the ability to work from home as well. Management and culture: DLK group has a wonderful team, from co-workers to the management. Team work is encouraged as well as the ability to preform individually, absolutely no micro management, training is always provided before being individually tasked and help is always available. Job security and Advancement: I can proudly say that I work for a company where KPI are communicated effectively and motivates and rewards good performance. About 10 years ago my journey started at DLK GROUP as an Administrator within the sales department. This was a really exciting period of my life as I was trying to establish my career within a good company. Only after two months in my job, I was promoted to sales and this was such a great achievement for me. I believe my passion & the DLK Group's culture & it's environment helped me grow my confidence to tackle anything. At that stage, I also received great support from Leon and the team. I felt unstoppable & together with Leon's guidance we received a million rand order from UWC. You can only imagine how I felt as this confirmed to me that with the right company, the right training & the right support you can achieve anything! I stared to believe in more my ability and came to work even more encouraged. This positive effect helped me so much in how to deal with customers and how to deal with difficult request. It also allowed me to continue to broaden my experience and add to my current capacity. My current new exposure to the business has been so inspiring as it led me onto our HR department where I am currently , in addition to my job assisting in our recruitment department .I am learning so much in this space and gaining such a wonderful insight into our HR department that makes it so amazing for me . One of the awesome feelings I get is when I have the pleasure of telling the candidate ''You got the job'' I have learned and grown so much at DLK GROUP and I firmly believe that I can continue with them to grow my career. I have become stronger as a person and feel daily that I am adding much value in whatever I do . Overcoming my fears has been my greatest achievement and for that , I would like to thank Leon and the rest of the DLK Team .
