I went to Dr Pillay for my first time recently and it is such a pity that I can’t relate to the great service other people received. The Dr standing in for Dr Pillay was actually unprofessional. When I walked into the consulting room he just said “Didn’t they tell you Dr Pillay isn’t here? Go ask the receptionist” without even greeting me. Whilst he is saying this he is addressing me whilst busy with whatever he was doing on his phone. He was not friendly at all and very RUDE. I was not even comfortable consulting with him because of how he asked what was wrong with me. When it came to the check up he didn’t even check my temperature he just said put some lighting equipment to check my throat and said “I don’t see anything” and that was it. To top it all off he has the confidence and audacity of asking me out on a coffee and drinks date and I think that topped everything off. I’ve never had such a bad experience at the Dr like I did yesterday. He is absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL not forgetting so rude and just not interested. It almost felt he was doing you a favor. I feel so bad for Dr Pillay because that substitute Dr is really ruining your patients experience at your practice. It felt like I just wasted my money
What an amazing doctor!!! His bedside manner is phenomenal. The compassion and care he has is truly what a doctor should be. My first visit and I am most certainly going to make him my family doctor. I would strongly recommend Dr Pillay.
In my opinion the worst doctor I've come across, he told me to continue taking the meds I'm taking and I'll get better. Went on for days and I was sick.
Sat and waited for an hour. What's the point of an appointment if they can't stick to times Dr pillay is a nice doctor. Receptionist is unprofessional
Dr Avishkar Pillay has been my family GP for over a decade now! He is by far the best GP in town! He is attentive and has always fixed the ailment first time around. He has great bedside etiquette and is so kind to the little ones, my children LOVE going to the GP!
This is the best Dr I've met in a while, very thorough, took his time and didn't rush through the consultation, have never been this pleased with parting with my hard earned money

Dr Pillay is good listener, never in a hurry. Both my wife and I have been extremely happy in dealing with Dr Pillay. He always returns our calls and calls us when he gets blood results. He is a brilliant doctor.
I highly recommend Dr. Pillay. He is very welcoming and friendly So is the receptionist. He is by far the best Dr. I have ever came across. We need more doctors like him in society and from now on he is my go to GP!!!
I was referred to Dr Pillay by my Mommy group and they were right in saying he is amazing. Had a sick baby and the Doctor was professional, compassionate, gentle and just a positive person. Definitely will recommend him to all new Mommy's.
