Durban, Toti Beach

Amanzintoti beach is one of the best beaches in Durban, always police and security cars are patrolling, 24 hours a day. My last visit there, they put a gym equipments for the public. Lifeguards are always there, looking after the people swimming. Well done Amanzintoti

From our early morning observation even Toti Main is dirty and it's heading towards Pipeline so it's best we close from Isipingo to Umgababa and check it out again Wednesday morning. Spent a great holiday here between Christmas and new years. The beach is clean and was cleaned every day we were there. Water was warm and good size waves. Showers and food outlets only at the main section of the beach. Buildings are run down and in need of some major renovation or just maintenance. The public pool also in need of some major help.

Clean beach, with wide sandy beaches. Gets windy in the afternoon. Lifeguards on duty are strict to control the crowds. Amazing peaceful atmosphere. Well kept Braai facilities available for everyone to use. November has great sunny beach days. Be sure to avoid the rush.

This beach at Toti is absolutely amazing. It is kept absolutely neat and clean. The ocean walk stretches out for miles...seems endless. This stop hosts a Spur, pub and grill, fast food outlet and ice cream store. It has a mini outdoor gym area, they have an allocated area for braai's, with a small waterpark with a huge pool and slide. It's an awesome place to spend the entire day. It's also a pet friendly zone...Fun in the sun at the beach for the entire family!

It was okay. The beach goers fish a lot there and sadly some unpleasant people were around, which made the visit not so great, but okay enough. The shore and water were great: I think early morning to early afternoon is the best time to visit this beach. From around 4pm, the waves become more forceful, and throw your flimpsy human self around, which is funny and super scary.

The experience was wonderful. It was our first time being there. The beach was clean and lot of police visibility. A let down for me was that they don't have showers to wash off the sand after swimming

Really great to see that this beach is so well kept and clean. Lovely spot to take a walk or just sit and enjoy something to eat and take in the view. Took a few cell phone pics just to capture the memory and share the awesome experience. I must say that I have been in Amanzimtoti before and did not even know that it was a good place to visit. Directions are few.

Morning walks are great here, such a safe beach and close to Spur to have breakfast in the morning.

Nice beach but all the infra-stucture has aged horribly. The beach isn't as clean and well maintained like most beaches in the Cape Province. Still enjoyed the visit.
