Just called the pharmacy now. They have my original script. I told them to keep it when I collected in November 2022. I told them to update the phrase on their computer stating that the original was returned. My late brother who died on 10 October 2022 was the one who brought the original back. Don't let me have to catch an Uber there tomorrow to be faced with more incorrect info. Get your facts correct. You are all incompetent and rude. I will cause a scene in your store the likes of which you've never witnessed. It will be recorded an posted on social media. Shocking service!
Sister Meyer on duty is PURE GOLD at the clinic. She called me back after I left a messages, help me book an appointment for the following day and saw to me on time. I haven't received such amazing service in a really long time. Will definitely stick to this clinic!
This 1 review is generous when it comes to rating the level of service at Clicks Pharmacy Edgemead. Total incompetence from everyone behind the pharmacy counter. Chronic medication is a life line for those who require it. Patients require the correct medication in the correct doses timeously. For months now there SMS notification system that informs the patient that there meds are ready for collection fails to do so. The telephone system is also inoperable throughout the branch. The patient is required to drive in to the pharmacy and then convince the staff behind the counter that they are on chronic meds. The clicks card identifier is of no use. Once you provide DNA you might be lucky to receive your meds - provided it hasn't been added to some other patients chronic meds in another province......yes, this is what has happened. Keep a copy of your doctors script close at hand if you decide to make use of this pharmacy - they tend to even capture the details off your script incorrectly and they will convince you that you are required to pay a co-payment because they captured your meds incorrectly. Lastly, try to address these issues with the pharmacy manager, it's like trying to find Nemo. He or she - I don't even think the staff know if it's a he or a she, is simply a phantom roaming the dark unknown corners of that pharmacy. You have been warned - avoid this pharmacy at all cost!!!
This is still the worse clicks around. Easier to drive to pick n pay pharmacy. The wait time is crazy, having a new fancy ticketing system still does not make it better when you are STILL under staffed. I thought it would be better by now but same same but you get a ticket to hold now while you wait........
What is happening at this branch? The pharmacy service can't even be described as bad, since there Is NO SERVICE! Every month I request that my prescription should be automatically prepared. Every month they simply don't. Then you have to wait up to 2 hours no, I am not exaggerating and then another 30 plus minutes while they prepare the existing script. Shocking. I will not take me new prescription there once this one has expired
Clicks does not have a good reputation when it comes to service delivery, however, the pharmacist makes all the difference. I have had some excellent service at this specific store. I don't visit other clicks pharmacies if I can avoid it. I rather go where I feel valued. Thank you to the staff at clicks pharmacy at edgemead shopping center. You are appreciated
Slowest and least helpful pharmacy of them all. 5 staff behind counters at times not calling customers, absolutely no interest and the computer skills are atrocious. Why is the manager not addressing this when all the complaints are similar and date more than a year back?
This is by far the worst pharmacy i have ever been to. If the pharmacist don't even know what a probiotic is.... i don't know. Every single time i go to this Clicks I feel aggravated. Staff is so rude. Pharmacy is ridiculous to say the least. Please get qualified staff or rather close your doors. This Clicks will never see me again.
Every single review is negative and all with the same issues, the wait is WAY to long, the ticket system makes no difference, and no one answers the phone so you can not even ask them to prep your repeat script if it is with them! When you finally get to the font, its so slow to get what you require its ridiculous! Why has someone not done something about the bad service or lack of help or who knows what to change the situation here... something needs to be done about this Clicks Pharmacy!!!
They get 1 star, only because 0 isn't an option. The dispensing staff is pathetic, uneducated and more interested in their after work parties. The one thing you would expect a pharmasist to do is be able to count. For the third month in a row they have given me the wrong amount of tablets. Not to mention that one of the assistants, signed me up for the monthly collection service at the dismally pathetic Edgemead branch, without my knowledge or consent. Now it is a struggle to get my prescription every month. They claim it from the medical aid on Sundays and I don't get a notification that my meds are ready. When I try collect my script from a branch more conveniently located, I am unable to do so and have to drive to the Edgemead branch where surprise, surprise, they have not prepared my medication and I have to wait 20-30 minutes for the pharmasist assistant to figure out how to count to 48.
