Our game ranger programmes allow you to swop your business suit for a game ranger’s outfit right from day one of your holiday. You can actively explore life in the South African wilderness, and combine making a valuable contribution to nature conservation with fun and a good dollop of adventure.
Sharpen your senses in the Kruger National Park or actively get involved with nature conservation in a Big 5 reserve on the Garden Route. The conservation experience allows guests to participate in wildlife and veld management, learn important bush skills and interpretation, as well as volunteer with the local community.

“Elela” is a Tsonga word which means “to see clearly”. The Tsonga are an ethnic group in South Africa, and Elela is used as a girl’s name. We have chosen the name, not only for the beauty of its sound, but also because it expresses our mission so well.
We have more than 10 years’ experience in tourism and the non-profit sector in Southern Africa, and we look forward to supporting you professionally in your planning of a “different” holiday. Our programmes are designed to give you a deeper insight into the country, and help you to actively experience “wild life” in Southern Africa. Once immersed in the wilderness, you will notice how you gradually gain distance from your daily life, start to observe your surroundings more intensively with your senses, and experience yourself anew, gaining clarity and insight.
