I confess I had little interest in going on one more safari as I had been on 4 or 5 in Kenya already. What would seeing another lion, elephant, giraffe, Cape buffalo, impala or baboon achieve? Well I was surprised immediately as on our way to Jock Safari Lodge a call came on the radio that someone had spotted two lions stalking Cape buffalo. Our driver/guide David put peddle to the metal and drove as fast he could to allow us to witness a potential lion kill. Unfortunately, we missed the kill, but saw the lone lion by then struggle to secure his kill and later that evening we would see the lion devour his kill. On the way to see the lion, we saw a massive elephant and leopard lazing in a tree as well as giraffe, impala and warthogs. What a spectacular beginning to the best safari I have been on. The best part was seeing African wild dogs, something that was a first for me. The best part of the safari was David who it appeared experienced each siting as if it was his first. His enthusiasm and expertise made this more than just another safari. The staff at the lodge was polite, professional and efficient. The food was a better quality and greater variety than I expected and the servings were copious. I highly recommend Jock Safari Lodge for the quality of the and the value for money. Thanks to Siyabona’s staff for delivering a quality product.
Siyabona, and specifically Annerie, is magic. I didn’t have a lot of time to plan and basically gave a crazy wish list see this, do that, consider doing a different that. Annerie recommended a few options, was patient with all my questions and planning scenarios, and sooo friendly. Siyabona even upgraded my hotel after I paid because a nicer one opened up. Annerie was available via WhatsApp during my trip, helped me with a work logistics question, and made sure even the weather didn’t slow me down. I highly recommend Siyabona for your trip and will definitely be working with them again.
Great travelling agency, Our planning was perfectly schedule and we got to enjoy our safari at Kruger without any worries. The agency was also very helpful when we had to re-schedule a lot of our activities due to our flight cancelation.
Wow. Most amazing trip ever. Everything was planned for me. Didn't have to leave a finger. Had some issues, but they were all my doing. Would definitely use Siyabona again and again in the future. Would recommend that anyone use Siyabona for their travel needs.
Lora-Leigh was amazing to work with - she was super flexible for our last minute and ever-changing group and I couldn't be more appreciative. This was the best experience I've had in my whole life and truly believe everyone should go on a safari at some point in their lives. Add it to the bucket list!
Siyabona Africa Travel booked an incredible trip to Botswana for us. Camp Okavango, Camp Xakanaxa and Camp Savute. We were looked after perfectly, from the first flight, to the accommodation and back home. I cannot recommend them highly enough, in particular Lora-Leigh, who we communicated through. She made our lifelong dream a reality, she's professional, friendly and diligent.
This is the second time I approached Siyabona for booking my accommodation at Kruger National Park. Ms Annerie Al of Siyabona did a wonderful job and all my reservations were done seamlessly in 3 different Rest Camps and most efficiently. She was also available for any other specific requests like a letter for applying for our SA visas. All in all it was a very pleasant experience dealing with Siyabona and particularly Ms Annerie Al!!!!! Many thanks for that.
Had an amazing time! The tour Karolien organized for us what exactly what we were looking for and more. We did the 2 days in Kruger and 2 days in Sabi Sands tour; the lodges were gorgeous, the transport to and from went seamlessly, and we got to see so many animals. Definitely recommend!
Have used Siyabona for multiple safari trips. Have always found them to be knowledgeable and efficient. Particular thanks to Annerie for all her help and advice given over the past few years which has resulted in many memorable trips. If we are planning to go to South Africa we do not hesitate in going to Siyanbona to look after our holiday itinerary.
We were booked for Hilltop Lodge in Hluhluwe for January 2023. We were looking forward to a relaxing stay in nature. The accommodation at Hilltop was inhabitable, there was no water, to drink, shower or flush toilets. The game drive the next morning was lovely but then we were back to the lodge with no running water. We checked out after 1 night even though our booking was for 3. The lodge said they would refund us as they acknowledged the conditions. 4 months! later I am still waiting for the refund from Siyabona, despite they being paid by Hilltop! Siyabona should have done their homework on the lodge before taking guests there!
