We were delighted to find this gem in the Elgin Valley. Alan, the host, made us feel very welcome and the location, while close to the main road, is very centrally located and not too far from Cape Town. Great views and a wonderful place to visit. We had 3 rooms, the best which our room located upstairs that was a great place to just sit and enjoy the view while sipping some wonderful wines from the region. Reminded us a little of Sonoma Valley back 30 years ago. Friendly people, terrific wines, and some great dining options for lunch in the area. We were ready to move in.
A wonderful stay in a beautiful and tranquil environment. This is a place where you will definitely find peace for your soul. Everything is of very high standard. You wouldn't get a more friendly, welcoming and helpful host than Alan. Our stay was just too short. Definitely want to be back in the future.
Absolutely loved this place! Was a last minute booking for 1 night and we thoroughly loved staying in the old converted farmhouse, the room was generous in size, so is the bathroom, and all the amenities and creature comforts you've come to expect of a top establishment. The farmhouse is set on a stunning apple orchard and there are beautiful walks around the place as well. The continental breakfast was just enough, served with fresh fruit, cheese, cold meats andd much more including delicious coffee. It's a must visit again place.

My husband and I spent a night at this lodge. We could not have asked for a more welcome reception. The room was everything we wanted. Warm and cozy on a cold winter night. Breakfast was lovely and our hostess could not be more friendly and kind. We will certainly return for a visit in the future.
Excellent spot for any weddings or events in the area. Comfortable and clean rooms with full dstv on offer.
