Fly Piggy Fly Media is a trend and technology driven media company aiming to increase international media export from the Eastern Cape.
Partnering with the SABC, DSTV Parliamentary Channel and KYKNet (MNet) we have produced Eastern Cape legs of national TV shows or entire seasons of TV shows for TV channels.
In March 2009 we developed a children’s TV show on recycling, called Garbage Gallery, this was commissioned by SABC 3 and appeared on SA’s TV screens from November 2010. This is the first in-studio TV show to be fully produced in the Eastern Cape. The second season was filmed in 2012.
The studio which was built by Fly Piggy Fly is also the only TV studio in the Eastern Cape. It has a green screen, infinity curve for photography complete with lighting for shoots and it has enough space for three TV sets. The studio also has a sound proof recording studio.
