Fourways SPCA

There is no better way to make, a difference, other than monetary donations if you have it to spare, however we always donate all our goods to the SPCA instead of selling them off for our own benefit knowing it can make a difference. Then we pop into the bookstore for a few books, they charge very little and you find some real gems in the store! This is our tithing!

The people at Randburg SPCA are doing a wonderful job looking after abandoned dogs and cats with very little money. I adopted my little Cara, a Jack Russell/Dachshund mix, from them 15 years ago. She has gone to doggie heaven and this morning I donated her beds, cushions, pillow slips and blankets to them. I also took household and decorative items I no longer need for sale in their charity shop. Please consider adopting a dog from the SPCA rather than buying one Please donate items you no longer need to them.

Despite appealing several times for assistance with an owner refusing to use a leash thereby putting the village cats at risk, absolutely NOTHING has been done. Is this not mandatory in suburbia?

I understand that my dog was not properly trained when I left him here, but I also believe it would have been very kind to just let the person who surrendered the dog know that you are considering putting him down before you actually do it. This was unnecessarily cruel

Friendly and helpful staff everything is clean and organised. Animals look like they are well looked after

Found a beautiful female tabby in our garden. She must've been out on her own for a long time because she's very thin. She ate and drank up a storm last night. She's so sweet and so very loving. She's a tabby with white paws and chest and she has markings on her face that look like she is wwaring a mask on her eyes, so cute. I can't keep her as I have my own cats so brought her to the Randburg SPCA this morning. They were very helpful and made a heartbreaking moment as smooth as they could. They scanned her but unfortunately she wasn't chipped. Really hope she gets adopted, she's so loving and very pretty. So if you're looking for a good companion she may be it for you.

Great place, volunteered here before. Hopefully when I have time I can do that gain. I love animals so much.

Clean and welcoming reception. Staff were very friendly and helpful. You can feel that everyone there cares about what they are doing

We got our dog from the SPCA recently. they were very helpful, and provided us with great info and assistance. Very swift.
