My family and I are not vegetarian but one or twice a week do a meat free option which generally consists of either veg burgers, braai style sausage rolls or schnitzel with mushrooms sauce etc. I decided to give their pies a try - oh my word what a disappointment pies were awful. We tried the veg curry and creamy mushrooms one and it had to go to the bin. What a waste of money!
The quality of almost all of the fry's products has dropped so drastically. It's so expensive and now tasteless. Even smells very funny. I'm vegetarian and will never buy their products again.. so so disappointed.
Extremely disappointed with the traditional burgers. In the past one burger was filling but now the pattie does not even fit the bun and it is so thin. I won't waste my time spending my money on this very small patty. One needs to have at least 3 patties in one burger to satisfy their hunger a little. Please do rethink your changes. .
My current favourite are the no-meatballs. Just cannot go wrong with a spaghetti & meatballs family dinner - especially when it's cold.
Bangers recipe has changed,bland and disgusting. I will never purchase their product again.
Hi Fry Family, I just to say how disappointed with this product. What has changed? I have always enjoyed this product in the past but lately I find its like dog food. Not even my dog eats it. Dont like the smooth texture, it doesn't crisp up like previous. Absolutely not worth it. I have a photo of what the burger looked like. Thank you.
Bought Drysdale Traditional Burgers. MNF. 13.08.20 The worst mushie burger eaten. Frys have definitely messed up. Please Frys where was the short cut in producing this horrible batch. My family, many friends and I were so happy to see the Frys products go vegan friendly. However the huge downside for us is that the products that did not have onion and garlic in their ingredients now do. We follow a vegan sattvic diet and unfortunately have had to give up buying the Frys products, very sad. Please, please can you make efforts to revert to omitting onion and garlic from these products. There are millions of people across the globe that follow a vegetarian/vegan AND sattvic diet, please consider your old faithful customers.
The new and improved burgers are the worst ...frys used to be my favourite brand when went on fast now its the worst we paying top prices for rubbish while frying the burgers it goes all mush and broken its a mess sent a message on the website 2 days ago and still no response from frys. We not getting our moneys worth with your new recipes very disappointing
I bought 6 boxes of the frys mutton curry pies. What a disappointment and a waste of money. The bottom of the pies stick to foil even after loosening before baking. The cover of the pie is definitely not pastry but some type of dough. This was not the case before. It's really sad that the product has become a waste of money. Coreection.... Curry pie. We refer to it as a soya mutton curry pie in our family
