I have always loved McDonald's in pinetown. The food is good & I luv the fries. I must say that the new revamp looks amazing. But this visit on Monday the 16th of May was so disappointing. The manager on duty was extremely rude. The lady that handles the self help kiosk not customer driven not friendly I was not allowed to order at the counter . I think that is unacceptable. If McDonald's wants to save money on staff wages and do away with counter service. Then you should invest in people that are passionate about customer service.
I am highly disappointed with today's service. I walked in at 10pass 7 pm. Placed my order and my time on the slip was 19:13. I waited for my order and none of the customers were called to get their order. 3 or 4 orders were before me. None of the staff came to inform us about the hold up because usually 5mins in and out and today I waited much longer than expected. I had my order ready at 19:35.
I ordered 3x kiddies meals ,2x mcfeasts, 1x mcfeeze and 1x large hot chocolate which i couldnt even drink because it was served before my meal and when i asked it to be served with my meal , lady left it on the table and went away. On my way taking it to the counter then cup slipped on the tray and fell on the floor. Worst experience ever. Got to be called an "aunt" by Siyanda on 15/06/2023 for just showing some discontent for a very slow service. I still can't believe that happened and he g e to to get up everyday and go to serve customers with such a disrespecting attitude
Worst experience ever. Will never go there again. Waited 2 hours in the drive through just to find my order was wrong and the excuse is. "Uh, I think we are short staffed". Hopefully the new one in Sarnia is better than Pinetown. Service gets worse every time i get back.
They are ohk i suppose,the staff tends to be too casual and have their own private conversations loud making a busy tiny place extra chaotic. I think the ordering machines were just placed wrong, for it ends up being hard to go out or in due to the people lining up to order on those machines. Maybe put a different exit door.
I am not much of a fast food fan, but the staff of McDonald's Pinetown have just made my entire experience beyond awesome. The staff attitude, the love they have, the cleanliness of the facility, the food presentation, the vibe and energy. What the staff did for me today was beyond just a food service. I am and will definitely be returning as much as I can #A New Place called home...
Late night visit, quarter pounder had the wrong sauce but was still lekker. Stock standard MCDs we all know and love. Friendly staff and quick service. Just what we need at 21:45 on a Saturday night.Food: 3/5
