Went into the store last week and we received friendly, helpful service from the staff from choosing our appliance to having the price matched and discounted to beat opposition price at the till! Shameful that the 6ft2 guy with the young lady had to be so loud and insulting towards the staff shouting at the top of his voice "do they actually work or just chat?" The laugh is on him!
I have had the worst experience shopping at Game Stores. I bought my items online and received an invoice from their Boksburg store. I honestly don't know why they have an option of shopping online when they clearly don't know what they're doing. I received an item which was not what I expected and advised them a month ago. Initially, Osline Roberts, their online customer service agent, pretended to be assisting me. The last email I received from her was weeks ago stating that the store had received the item. I sent her two emails in two separate weeks following up and it seems like she's decided screw customer service, I don't have to do my job. I have spent more money calling Game in an attempt to recoup my refund than the amount I spent on the product. Not to mention my energy. Absolutely pathetic. I would never recommend anyone to shop online at Game, rather go to Makro. Their returns process is as seamless as making a purchase. With Game, I don't know, It's either they've decided I'm donating my money to them or simply that they are stealing it, either way, I still have not received it.
I wanted to buy a new cell phone, but the staff had no energy and seemed very tired. They could not even look at me when I was speaking to them. So I decided not to bother them any further and took my money and my business elsewhere.
Good service from the staff as always, however management needs to fix the airocon urgently , currently the place is terribly hot and the poor staff members must endure from 09-6pm, with most of them on their feet
Since I started buying from game north rand road it's been a bad experience there is more than enough staff to help but everytime I go there there's no assistance from anyone the management doesn't help when there's problems I've been smashed and grabbed and lost all of my personal cards so I took a certified id copy with my temporary drivers licence and my old id book to them to get a new game store card and couldn't get a new card so why must I keep my account with them ? I'm going to settle my account and close it my next step is hello Peter. If someone had a similar problem like me who goes into the store to pay their account and has no id how can they pay their account? Then the lawyers and bad credit will come into play that is bull I advise the people to rather have a debt order to go off on your accounts
I would like to send a big thank you to the manager of the Boksburg store. After battling with an online order for 2 weeks we were helped the same day with delivery to our house even though we said we would collect.
This shop has deteriorated from what it used to be. The shop is completely changed and has a much smaller variety of product. The jewelry department is almost non existent. The little that they have is very overpriced.
I had a bad experience yesterday, I applied for iPhone contract and then they told me to pay R19044 immediately payment and also R906 for first payment, how possible is that? And that amount I can buy a new phone cash
No wonder Massmart is struggling with Game. At this store you get hammered with ethnic music, base pumping. I do not understand the African thing of having music so loud you cannot hear yourself think. It doesn't enhance the shopping experience nor does it make me want to spend more. It make me want to leave, which I did, never to return.
Geoffrey from the office chair section was tremendous. He assembled the product and even carried it to the car for me. Please commend Geoffrey, he is an asset to your business.
