Grovida Horticultural Products has been a household name since 1980 when the company was established by Vincent Lourenco (SNR).
Over the passed 30 years, Grovida has been distributing top quality products to the horticultural, agricultural and pest control market.
From its humble beginnings, Grovida, KwaZulu Natal occupies a 4000 square metre warehouse located at 400 Sydney Road, Durban.
In early 2000, a further warehouse was purchased in Shepstone Road, New Germany from which Grovida does all its bagging and pre-packing of its own branded products.
At present, Grovida’s own range of products comprises of insecticide, fungicides, herbicides, fertilizers, organics, organic chemicals, vegetable seeds as well as a number of imported products which includes sprayers, coir peat products, sprinklers and other garden requisites.
In 2008 Grovida launched its very own organic chemical range. The idea behind the organic range is to offer the Consumer an environmentally – responsible garden care range. It is our decision, in the not-too-distant future, to faze out our more harmful insecticides to the home gardener.
Our organic range is marketed under the Wise range and has a totally new look compared to our other range.
Our organic pesticides have a lower impact on both the environment and human health.
Grovida is made up of 3 major divisions;
1. Wholesale Division: Selling directly to all retail outlets and pest control operators
2. Farmers Division: Selling to cash crop farmers, golf courses, schools and municipalities.
3. Retail Division: We have a garden retail outlet situated in our premises, selling the Grovida range of seeds, fertilizers and chemicals – offering you the right choice.
