The skin color does play a lot in getting the service you deserve. Personal experience. Bar,waitrons very lovely. Management is not so welcoming. Atmosphere good, but the idea you are being watched due to the color of your skin is a downer. We were a few that noticed this. This is my second review of this facility. So definitely, when a crowd is present of color, the service and atmosphere change. But a lovely place.

Our Wednesday evening experience at this restaurant, featuring their wine tasting special, surpassed all expectations. Awarding it a mere 5 stars feels insufficient. An extraordinary three-course meal accompanied by an exceptional wine tasting, courtesy of Haute Cabrière, from Franschhoek, right at our table. Comparable meals at other establishments costing R500 would pale in comparison. Upon receiving our starters and catching sight of our main courses, we couldn't help but feel indulged. The Grilled Ribeye was cooked to perfection, the Risotto was delightfully flavourful, and the Panfried Linefish left us in awe. If, like me, you're fortunate enough to dine with the right people, you may even get the chance to savour all of the delectable dishes on offer. Just when we thought the experience couldn't get any better, they surprised us with the Vanilla Panna Cotta, which was simply divine.

Visited on a Wednesday evening for their wine tasting special. Incredible value for money at only R220 for a three course meal with free wine tasting. The food was delicious, hot, well presented and good portions. The staff are friendly and attentive. Loud music is playing as this is a cocktail bar. The wine tasting brand changes once a month but you can enjoy the special every Wednesday. Parking outside is limited so try to arrive early around 6pm. The seating is comfortable and allows for tables for couples or large groups of people. The decor is old school Hollywood with a touch of 1900s London. I had a lovely evening and will be back!

Came here for girl's night and what fun we had! The cocktails and shots are amazing and we loved dancing late into the night with the great music. Get there early for free entrance, and try book a booth to sit in.

This place was amazing. We were there for the Wednesday special. 3 course meal with wine tasting for R220. The food, the service,the experience was great. I loved the vibe of the place as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Never had food here. Clubbing wise it's a super fun place! Go before 22:00 to get your free entrance and go dance the night away! Not too pricy. Friendly staff and bouncers!

I had a really great time at Harringtons. The pricing was reasonable, the food was good and the vibe was enjoyable. We went on, I think, Wednesday, which is their tapas evening and the portions were great, and it was paired with wine. Our waitor was also very welcoming. I was overall, pleasantly surprised with the evening as it isn't my usual scene

We did pre-dinner drinks and love the place. It is open and spacious and has fantastic wooden decorations. The staff are very cool but easy going. The bar has big shelves and is well lighten. The bar cocktails were special and I am going back there soon.

Had a fun night. Some interesting tequila pairings. The mains were delicious choice of divine Kingklip or tasty Rib-eye Steak with scrumptious sides. If tequila is your thing, you'll definitely enjoy the Thursday Fiesta Feast. The host Guy is a very friendly gent & the staff are welcoming. The venue has an old-school classic "Bugsy Malone" charm. The DJ entertains with lively beats & cool mixes. Definitely a good spot for friends to meet after work for dinner & drinks. Would be a great choice for a "grown ups" party venue. Ubering to the Fiesta Feast is recommended, as the tequila pairings pack quite a punch and are served with every meal tasting, plus 50% off tequila shooters. A boozy fiesta & fun night with friends.
