I got my Sammy from HAWS, he was hit by a car and had his arm amputated, is why I got him. I know of a few people that have taken their animals there and they do exceptional work, is why I am donating. Thank you for doing your best

Very disappointed in this place. So called people who care but they tell us if we bring in bottle babies they will be euthanized. Thank you for your help..

If I could give it 0 stars, I would have. Found a box of kitties so took them in to Haws. After 2 days I said I will go back and adopt 2 as I’ve been looking after them for quite abit, the women was so so rude and was forcing me to pay R500! The place is ruthless! Don’t take your animals there as it’s just unfair to animals! I was so heart sore for those animals and speak about the the roads to get there as well!! I wanted to take back 2 of my kitties and the lady said well you have to pay R500 for each, then she said you know how difficult is it to kill them when no one adopts them !!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS THERE !! Very RIDICULOUS PLACE !!! BARELY LOOKING AFTER THE ANIMALS , they in a dump!! AND YOU DIDNT GIVE ME AN OPTION TO ADOPT A MALE KITTY !!

One of the worst experiences of our lives. Kittens trapped in small cages. Woman was rude and swearing at us ! Animals trapped! I wanted to adopt but the woman was very rude ! She said if no one adopts they will kill them! Really not a nice place ! Worst animal shelter I’ve ever been too!

i heard about what happened today such a shame that she the owner didn’t want to give 3 kittens to the person who had dropped them there this person felt bad for leaving them there then decided to go and fetch them back just after two days and give them a proper life style and some daily love but they refused how and why ? because she signed some forms ??? really now ?! or because they still babies ? she didn’t even mind paying for them …still refused im sorry maybe because she was indian you didn’t have to be so cruel! she couldn’t even touch the kittens that you kept in a small cage 5 of them ! and we just wanted to help out ! i don’t think this should be such a difficult situation you just made it a complicated situation you didn’t even offer one kitten male !!! you said that you did in the reviews no you didn’t!! what a shame ! people pls go and read the reviews on hello peter ! it looks like this women only wants money !! and rejects who ever she feels like

Best service ever, everyone here really loves the animals and know what they are doing. Our puppy was sent home from a well known vet “Without a solution” and coming to Haws was a lifesaver. Thank you guys you really are the best and very patient and friendly. The vet and staff are really AMAZING.

Very friendly, accommodating and informative. I would recommend them to anyone needing help and also to adopt or donate. These people really do wonderful work for animals.
