Illinois Spur Steak Ranch

My friend and I and our dad and his friends had lunch a few days ago at this spur. We got burgers and chips. The burger was very good; as always with Spur it was very good quality and freshly made. The burger was very delicious! Like, as someone who loves food, I enjoyed it..I was filled and actually quite stuffed after this meal. The meal is quite filling. The serving staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our meal. This spur has a family- friendly atmosphere. We came with 2 kids and they played in the play area; it kept them busy while we waited for the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant; I had a great time. Good job Spur!

Mate I don't like to complain, but yesterday's food wasn't up to scratch got your 200g pork half chicken and 8 wings combo and the chicken was cold mate. I don't even wanna start talking about the taste. I left the plate there with your managers. I wasn't taking that mess home in a doggy bag, the 2 minute noodles I had later on were far better than that dish. Do better chief don't charge me R200 for such bad quality.

The staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious. I love the student deals that they offer.Food: 4/5

The breakfast was really good. The service was great. The atmosphere music was amazing!

Very warm welcoming spur like any spur you may know. Manager even comes up to check up on you guys while dining. Highly recommend dining out, their veggie combination is definitely the best I've had.

The price for the same order I wanted lifted to about R10 this last year however I was always satisfied but this time I ordered the exact same andI felt like the chicken strips downgraded in size and this time it seems like they forgot the side chips. The price of the meal stayed the same. I did not have time to argue at the moment just know that I will never buy anything from Spur again.

What stood out for me was the service I received from my waiter. Otherwise the food was great too. I had their beef burger combo which was good. For dessert I had the Spur Canyon, popcorn caramel which was very tasty. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars for me is because they advertised a certain special on their Facebook page which I went there for only to get there & to be given information to the contrary. Otherwise it's a great environment.

The waiters were very nice and made me feel at home. They seemed to be really enjoying themselves. The food was very tasty, me and my friends ate our desserts there and the malva pudding was fresh and it tasted great. The milkshakes we ordered were also good and were value for money. Genuinely I had a great experience and hope to get that treatment again. Loved it.

Went for sit in breakfast and the service was great. But the take away service was terrible. Our food took forever to be prepared AND there were items missing. I was quite disappointed and I don't think I'll be going back. :
