Just to let u know.when we looked for a place it took us a while on the google.. we found this little place. When we arived we thought that it was going to be interesting. As the road we took gave us doubt ... But on arrival it looked so beautiful .... So quiet. First we met Andre... Such a cool guy. So helpful and friendly.. he actually came to look for us cos we were late. .. the staff helped to take our stuff to our chalet.... Honeymoon suite of cos.. and wow. To beautiful........ Guys... This place is so tranquil .... We did the game drives... Totally awesome... Then we met Marie ...the owner... So down to earth and friendly... Even offered to go get us beers in town. .. thanks Mari... Life saver. Really enjoyed been here. ... Guys.... If u love the bush.... U love the quiet... And u just want to chill.... Then this is the place... The tranquilaty and peace.... Well... Cant explain... U need to be here to really appreciate it... A definet come back for us. ... Thanks you Mari and Adre for every thing. We had a great weekend and wonderful service from all Izinkwe staff. The atmosphere was relaxing. Rooms: The rooms are neat and well equipped.

Perfect place for family gatherings / reunions / birthdays. We booked out the main camp for the weekend and what a fantastic experience. The catered food for the Saturday evening was of the best that we have ever tasted. The guys spent Saturday having a blast fishing at the dam. The hosts are friendly and accommodating and the accommodation is neat and exceptionally clean. It was the best weekend that we have had as family in many many years. A very special place and we will definitely be back.

I spent a lovely week at the Lodge in December 2019. The management and staff were friendly and helpful and the accommodation first class. Lots of bird and dragonfly activity around the dam and stream and during the game drive we saw a number of giraffe. Thank you to all the staff. I will visit again.

Definitely worth a 5 star rating! The service was excellent, the rooms are amazing, the atmosphere is breath taking! The food was over priced though. We had a pork tjop and salad for R150 each. Rather bring your own food and self cater.

What a wonderful relaxing time at Izinkwe Lodge! The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. Managing Couple Norman and Lorete were fantastic. The resident chef Abraham really takes pride in his work. Best scones ever! The game drives were great, the cleaning of the braai facilities were very noticeable and the communal Lapa /Boma worked beautifully. I do agree with all the rewiers. This place is something special. This facility can be used conferences or weddings. The self catering and non self catering units where clean and comfordtable. A small "games room", bar, sauna, communal kitchen etc is present. The road from the gate to the reception can be driven in any car. Plenty of different plant and animals species can been seen. There are 3 different 4x4 routes from easy to extremewinch a must, according to the owner. Fishing is on a catch and release basis, in a small dam. No self game driving is allowed.

Perfect weekend getaway. Friendly staff. Clean, audible ,fresh linen and towels.. it's a must see.. definitely going back again

It's verry clean and nice but the restaurant is not open nor the bar.And the road was verry bad
