Dangerously negligent and unprofessional. Would not properly drain an abcess and failed to use adequate numbing for drilling a HOLE into a tooth. Abcesses are serious business and highly dangerous to the patient when left improperly treated. Could have killed my friend. Avoid this dentist at all costs.
A friend of mine visited Dr James about 2 weeks ago with severe tooth ache. Dr said there was an abscess and drained it and asked him to return a week later. He didn't explain what the problem was or what to expect. He didn't prescribe an antibiotic or pain medication. When my friend called in later that day letting them know he was in excruciating pain, they told him to use genpyn. He has been in so much pain he gets sweats, fever, swelling of the face and the list goes on. After visiting a new dentist today he was immediately put on antibiotics and efficient pain medication. I would never recommend this dentist or the practice.
I got a tooth filling done at the dentist, the filling only lasted a week and fell out. When I went back to get it fixed, he spent 5 minutes on it and stuck a piece of metal filling on it. I needed to pay another dentist to have the filling removed and do it properly.
Dr GJ James is the best dentist I have ever come across. He is so gentle and every experience is anything besides uncomfortable and painful. I appreciate individuals like him in the industry. Highly recommend!
Extremely friendly accommodating dentist and staff. And Dr. James is a magician when administering local anesthesia, virtually pain-free.
