Dr Eid is a proud provider of non-invasive laser dentistry (BIOLASE Waterlase) as a general dentist that is especially suited to children, even big kids.
DENTAL PROCEDURES INCLUDE:
- Preventative Care – consultations, x-rays, cleaning/polish, fluoride application, fissure sealants, oral hygiene instruction
- Restorative Care – composite fillings for decayed or broken teeth, pulp treatments
- Surgical Care – extractions, soft-tissue surgery such as, frenectomies, exposure of unerupted teeth for orthodontic treatment, drainage of abcesses, releasing of tongue-ties for speech therapy
- Pain therapy and accelerated healing for mouth ulcers, extraction sockets, surgical/infectious wounds
Patients generally require very little, or NO anaesthesia when using laser technology in dentistry - in most cases there is no post-op pain, swelling, inflammation or numbness.
This protocol is therefore very well-suited to children, who sometimes bit their lip, tongue or cheek after dental injections, and were also unable to eat for a long period of time. Laser dentistry overcomes this.
Dr Eid is passionate about exposing the children to modern dentistry, and at the same time, teaching them that oral care doesn’t have to be a frightening experience.
