My parcel was sent from the USA, and it quickly arrived in South Africa, it then got stuck at JIMC, calls don't go through, they responded to my email, wanted to know what was in my package, sent all the required documents, a month later, the parcel can't be tracked anymore. It's 2023 June now, I haven't received it since 2022 February.
My parcel has been sitting for over 2 weeks. I called and they said I have to wait as this is a busy time of the year. But if you know it's the busier time of the year why don't you hire more people? Then people can work shifts and get stuff done faster. Oh, I forgot they don't care about customer service. Monopoly.
I am send 2 parcels to CPT st the same time !!! From Switzerland the one arrived last week the other one is still at JHB !!! Very bad services . I paid priority a d m parcel is being handled as economy ! I will definitely report it to the post office in Switzerland. The same thing happened in July my mom edited 2 months !! For a parcel that is supposed to take 5 to 10 working days !!!!
The worst service I've ever got in my whole life in South Africa, I swear Eskom is better cos atleast they pick up their phones, don't deserve a star
Once after 2 months I found out that my parcel was at the International Mail Centre, and once after another week I got the telephone extension of the person dealing with my parcel, it worked relatively smoothly. We then corresponded by email. Took them a day to physically locate the parcel, and another day to clear it. They then offered to “dispatch” the parcel ie, to have it delivered to my home via the South African Post Office, or to collect myself from the mail centre. I opted for the latter, to avoid waiting for another month. Collection at the JIMC was quick, 4 forms only, and despite only 1 person at the counter, no queue whatsoever.
phone calls not answered, Sent my manager to the Durban office staff have serious attitude problems, No wonder the government departments are a mess with people like this working for them.. Catch a wake up your salaries are paid by us the tax payer, I will never use this pathetic service again, DHL and FEDEX get my business in future. Even my one star rating is only there so i could post my utter disgust.
All the time when I have to come here, I need to get some "Patience Tablets" _ only if there were such. You'd be lucky if they answer your call. Very poor service. When you get to the gate, for you to get inside its a mission!
Considering all the terrible reviews here one would think they would up their game and rectify the situation. The contact details provided are completely useless!!!! I have been trying to contact this place for over a week! Each time spending more than 15-20min on the phone just waiting for someone to answer and nobody ever does!!! what the hell is the point of this place if NOBODY works here!!!! Most pathetic service!
Laura Walden you are so right !!! I have lost so many items that I have ordered from China that it is not funny anymore. When I got my new Android phone almost 2 years ago I ordered 3 silicon protective covers of different colours. Only 1 ever arrived! Then I ordered a cable worth $3 and when it arrived they wanted to charge me R86 for clearing and VAT. I was not happy stating that the charges here are more than the item itself !! I asked to query this fee and never saw the item again! The tally now for items just never reaching me is over 20 !! Nothing ordered from overseas now ever reaches me. I have resorted to having all items sent to my friend in the USA and then brought out to me when I can. Post Office staff must be having a field day every day pocketing whatever they want. Ridiculous !!
I have NEVER come across a more useless and inefficient place. i receive a parcel and contents inside are missing and paid a lot for the item but has disappeared altogether. Phone calls are not answered and nobody has a clue what is going on. The Supervisors are as useless as the rest of the staff. They refuse to even tell me their names.Corrupt scheme they are running there.Been trying to lodge a complain with no success.
