I gave this a 2 star because you can literally find taxi's to anywhere... However when trying to navigate this place never ask random people who offer you help to find taxi's rather ask a driver or Queue marshal or else you will pay those guys about R20-R50. Keep your valuables safe and move your backpack in front of you so you keep eyes on it all the time... If you have a hand bag hold it well or they will cut the handles with a razor or underneath the bag with a razor. Avoid wearing your Peruvian and Brazilian weave they get snatched.
The place is always packed to the max, when visiting kindly make sure that all you're valuables are safely handled to avoid falling prey to crime activities that are alleged to take place from time to time. Otherwise for marketers that's a great spot to reach your target audience.

Good but crowded place. Taxes loading and offloading
I love that they have taxis to the nearest cities around Gauteng and the taxi drivers/que marshalls are very helpful with where you can find a taxi to wherever you want to go to. If only the area was not filthy, too busy, and organized and offered proper service and clean proper comfortable taxis at all times maybe I would rate it at least three stars. But then again I understand it is a rank there is nothing much to expect. Be safe.
A very busy ans congested place. Watch out for pick pocketing. Don't expose your money cellphone and other valuables here. Someone is always ready to take it from you, violently sometimes
The rank marshalls are so helpfull if you dont know where to find a taxi of where you are going. The place is always crowded and you must stay alet cause there are many thieves there.
Efficient and serves alot of people
This is a taxi rank where you get transport to move around locally. The area is situated in the heart of Joburg central. The disadvantage of this place is always packed with lot of people, so you must move with care especially if your hands are full .
