Great oysters....fresh not frozen. Sushi heavenly on the palate. Great service. A enjoyable evening.

Good improvement. Sushi much better with half price on Wed! Hake cooked perfectly.

Always a pleasure to have dinner, lunch or a snack here. Service level is good, waiters are always around when you need them, and they are customer service driven. An absolute must. Wednesday half price on Sushi is a must. Great service, great food!

Was a 4 star rating the last time I was here. Tonight I give them 1. Half price sushi wednesday was a nightmare. Food took forever and then it was the wrong order too. Waitress completely forgot about our table. Won't be back.

Great food, very pleasant

Had the best fish platter for lunch. The frozen margaritas were phenomenal and we absolutely loved the mini doughnut and ice cream dessert. Tables were clean and staff were attentive without crowding us. Quick service and efficient clearing away. John Dory's New Market, you will definitely see us again.

Ordered 28 pieces of sushi for delivery and got 2 tablespoons of soy sauce. Had to call to get a decent amount of soy sauce delivered, which took over 40 minutes to reach me, although I am 1,6km from the restaurant. Would not recommend.

Even though it was very busy the night we went, we had the best time because of our waitress. It's was our anniversary and she even brought us ice cream and a sparkle and helped to take some pictures. We started at the sushi bar and got a table reserved for us outside where it is naturally quieter. Thanks John dory's

We often go on a Wednesday evening for sushi, and we've never left disappointed. The lady working at the sushi bar is very friendly, and always helpful. There are some great sushi treats which we had never seen before - the salmon valentines are utterly divine!

Bad food... Ordered a platter on a wednesdayhalf price sushi which it does not include platters... So to my understanding paying the full price for the platter it has to be prepared freshly and was clearly not but rather taken off the conveyor which is half price and bad quality. Waiter attendance was good though.
