The service was abysmal. I went to for the sushi special and normally spend a substantial amount on a meal. However on the evening of 9 November 2022 it was very disappointing. I asked for a beverage and when after ten minutes it had not arrived, i had to ask a different person. When I needed additional serviettes, I again had to ask a different waiter. I felt like I was dumped into a seat and abandoned, as my waitress had far better interests out in the mall. Fed up with the poor service, I had to request my bill from somebody else again, as my waitress was nowhere to be seen as she was prancing around the mall with her friends. I doubt if she even knew that I left! What pathetic service!
We had dinner at our so called favourite place John Dorys Secunda Mall. Got into resturant at 17h00 at 18h15 the food arrived at the table. Not what we ordered only half. The praws was poor with no sauce. The service was non existing. Soda streem flat coke was served. Please people if you want to destroy your night go to John Dorys in Secunda Mall

What a Surprisingly Pleasant evening!!! Staff all of them is so friendly and their service on top form. To our waitress Happiness your name do you justice. You were the best we've encountered in a long while and that ON YOUR BIRTHDAY.... so Happy Birthday Happiness. To the manager Thank you for being so welcoming and checking on your patroits regularly You make a difference. You have definitely won US over. See you again soon. Oooh and one last thing Strawberry Daiquiri the BEST IN SECUNDA!!! xxx
I am disappointed to say....it was not a good evening at all. It was so HOT it spoiled the whole evening. After numerous requests to have the aircon turned on and we were not the only patrons waving us with menus to cool down they still didnt do anything. So we ate and left ... What a sad and disappointing end after John Dory's WAS 1 of our favourite dining spots. Sorry guys YOU CAN DO BETTER.
Came for Wednesday Sushi.. Have to ask for cutlery and collect it ourselves Waiting hours for sushi on the conveyor because they are too busy with sushi take away orders.. wait for drinks long time..very disappointed today.
Great service, friendly staff and creative yummy sushi. Very accommodating with replacing things indidnt want or like on platter. Highly recommend
Nice sea food, I go there everytime I am in Secunda.
Delicious oysters and Divine sushi was a awesome dinner last night.
They have a great and amazing menu...but the wait for your food....seriously is too much... Oir order took about 50 mins...at that time I was too angry to be hungry...good food..disappointing service
