An oasis in Upington with all the popular food franchises and shopping outlets under one roof. Modern and clean. I was impressed to see that they were pioneers in erecting shade parking, with PV solar panels to supplement their electricity requirements. Well done KM!

The only mall in the region. Very large selection of shops. All the main brands are here. Air-conditioned and clean. Public toilets well maintained and clean. Lots of undercover parking.
What a fantastic mall. Easily accessable, their hours are convenient, parking is free and it has all the major stores that youbwoukd expect to find in a major city in South Africa. The mall is kept clean and spotless.
Oh dear most shops are not keen to open on time. When travelling far distances you really can't wait for people to drag their feet. Otherwise very neat, good parking and a variety of stores mostly franchises that most cities also offer.
Kalahari Mall is Upington's only big shopping centre and is situated on the corner of Dr Nelson Mandela Drive and Van Riebeeck Street en route to the popular Kgalagadi Transfrontier National Park, Augrabies Falls National Park, the Orange River Wine Route and the Flowers of Namaqualand. The Mall opened its doors in September 2013 and with close to 60 stores, its wide variety, services and leisure options, shoppers can enjoy well-known retail outlets, as well as an impressive mix of speciality stores, open seven days a week. The mall offers free parking and the Kalahari Mall is truly a one-of-a-kind shopping experience, in a welcoming retail environment that includes state-of-the-art air-conditioning, to beat the Upington extreme heat during summer times. The three entrances at the mall connects you to the different stores in the mall.
Racist security, chase me away for sitting outside , were there is no sign to say you may not sit. But when I point out that there are people sitting at a other location , were there is a sign you not allowed to sit , the security got angered and told me to leave. So , if you white then you are not welcome at the mall .
Ample parking, wheelchair friendly with backup power. All the required shops and restaurants available. Spar, Game, Checkers, Trapers, Dishem, Clicks & liquor store.
Wow very impress with the Spar at the Kalahari Mall... This store Fresh Food Area is "World Class" and Butchery is AWESOME!! Well Done Spar!!!
Love Panarottus unfortunately no time to see the rest of the mall
